Yes the Barbera D'Alba costs more as the lands of Alba have a very distinct caracter and give the wine a hint of truffles, due to the soil. Barbera is now classed as DOCG, but this was an error in legislation. In theory only Barbera D'Asti Superiore should be classed as DOCG but now all Barbera in the Langhe region hold that title.

I like the advice and expertise that why i subscribed but gary talks too much! This is the shortest video I have seen from him so far, but seriously it can be shorter if he just taste the wine n cut the crap! love ya but ya talk too much!
