I think I know of a way to de-break the backburner without changing its effects. Make it's airblast cost 20 ammo and make it have a maximum of 100 ammo.  That way you still dish put a crapload of damage, but you have to be conservative with it.

@KikiMouse176 I don't play TF2 currently at all. There won't be any more unlock guides. Too much work for the joy it brings me and I don't have that much time nor interest in making any.

These guides are mostly outdated with patches and I don't even bother going into annotations and fixing them with patchwork. Just couldn't be bothered.

@Blasphemisaurusaoe3 Nope. You can only get weapons by four ways: 1) Achieving certain mile stone achievement will grant you one specific weapon of that class that came with the achievement. Only the weapons made by Valve during class updates (3 per class) are earned through achievements. 2) Crafting. 3) Random drop. Just play and wait for it to appear in your backpack. 4) Trade. 5) Buy it from Mann Co shop with real money.

@MrBadboy798 If you buy boxed TF2 first thing it does when you install it is that it installs steam. Buy it from steam or not you will have to use steam. With boxed you don't have to download about 3Gb and get box that takes space. You'd still have to download about as much in form of updates.

Well, there's two sides to the story. One is that there is guy running around flaming all the time and just running into people with his flamethrower screaming.

Then there's guys who follow the fleeing burning people and get called "noob" because they killed that guy who fleed and died.

If someguy cant avoid one "loud Pyro" (sysly, i never saw this stereotype in my whole TF2 chareer) or whatever Pyro with Flamethrower only, than someguy dont have the rights to call him a n00b. Both of your options fall into this one.

If people die from pyros attack then obviously it was viable tactic.

Well, a Pyro running into someone while beeing trigger happy when the other person is running backwards without touching the flames (if this is what you mean) can also be compared to a spy failing to act in the right Moment, a demoman thinking that the Sticky Launcher is TEH BEST WEPON EVAH, a engineer puting his sentry directly at the enemy entrance in the setup phase, a medic who just heals one person, a sniper who thinks that the huntsman is a weapon for skilled people, and more.

When pyro is running after someone without flames hitting his target then he is like all the classes not hitting their target.

Pyro should switch to shotty/flaregun at that point.

I mean that pyro runs from the base guns blazing into heavy who is outside the base (well out of range) shooting at the pyro. Pyro will die. Pyro didn't do well.

There was a bug some time after spy vs sniper update was released when random item drops had random level attached into them. The levels didn't do anything special, just wade the items seem "cooler". They removed the bug and now we have some rare items with non-default level.
