@bladeage Probably some kind of big membrane shotgun condenser microphone. (It must be a rarity, since the big membrane and shotgun mic combination)

But judgeing the quality of the sound and it's character this was DEFINITELY recorded with the camera's bulit in mic... :) No doubt about it, since Amy is up close to the shotgun mic, and i don't hear any low frequency boost where it should be (look up "proximity effect (Audio)" for more info)

I feel as though I missed a huge talent. I knew nothing of Amy other than all the tabloid stories of her drug and alcohol exploits, and I never really heard or listened to her music until after her death.

Thankfully her recordings live on... This young woman was an amazing, yet deeply troubled soul. The music industry lost a remakable person when she passed away.

I absolutely love this song, and especially this version of it. I hope her soul finds rest.
