what about operation Valkyrie?there is a photo of Hitler's generals holding his burned pants after they put a bomb under a table while he was having a meeting. this story is not well know but I think this is how Hitler died.betrayed by his generals who saw that the war could not be won.

@SSTTEEAALLTTHH the generals who tried to kill him did not wanted to continue the war.Hitler was also hated by Germans before 1945.his generals heard the bomb explode but they never saw Hitler dead.they found his burned pants,but a couple of hours later he was alive.they were all killed after Hitler discovered operation Valkyrie.

@SSTTEEAALLTTHH It was Hitler's system that failed.the problem was that his generals did not listen to him,they knew he was and idiot so they lied to him,but thanks to Hitler's complicated system there was no way of knowing were was the whole army without asking Hitler.they fooled him but they lost the war when they finally told Hitler the truth,by that time the red army wad closing in.the real winner of WW2 was Russia,without them UK and USA would be speaking German today.

I was referring to the countless cases where Hitler denied his troops (tactical) retreats especially in North-Africa and Russia.
I don't think the US would have been speaking German. It would have been quite the effort to successfully invade the US and for the UK, albeit they put up a fight it would have been a matter of time, but without Russia requiring Hitler moved troops to the East, Operation Overlord would have no doubt failed.

@SSTTEEAALLTTHH you are right,Hitler wanted his soldiers to fight to death but most of them surrendered in Stalingrad and north Africa.Hitler was a political genius but he was a stupid general.also without Russia Hitler would focus all of his forces in UK.maybe Americans would not be speaking German but the British would.if USA was the only country left of the allies they would had made peace because even tough Americans are kind of stupid they would not be that stupid.

I agree, though I just thought of something. the UK was not alone, back then it was still part of the British Empire. No doubt Australia, South-Africa, India, Canada etc would have proven hard to conquer.

@nemesis962074 Some how Hitler escaped serious injury in the explosion because he was not in his bunker when the bomb went off plus the room he was in had the windows open which allowed the shock wave to escape. He was thrown from where he was standing, but never had any broken bones etc.
