Umm @Aussie114 you clearly don't know how ScreenFlow works on exporting content. The preset has the [Customized] part for a reason, when you customize the res at the "Customize" button you can change the res and it bypasses the resolution. I did this on a MacBook Pro 15" running at 1680x1050 upconverting to 1080P. So I'm sorry to say this but you are wrong and I do indeed have proof if you want it.
did you say he had a g5 laptop, Apple never made G5's for portables, but if he has a G4, no way it would be able to meet your recording demands in my opinion, no way. Even powermac g5, he is going to be hard pressed unless its last gen with PCIe & cards they do not make anymore like X800XT which i used years back for HD. Powermacs had low frontside bus & poor vid channels, nothing against RISC but the CPU was starved.
@aussie114 i am actually agreeing with your point & IMO his powermac will not be able to. via a very rare chance he has a last gen powermac g5 with x800xt.
@mrbit10 I understand, now an unrelated note I remember you said you loved my acrylic PC case, a while back I built an acrylic case to the specifications of the Antec 1200, well now I am started to get a new project going, it is going to be another acrylic case, this one will be a 3 story pyramid, I will make a youtube video on the concept once I have designed it.
Eh? I'm confused? I thought you were a PC fan? I guess I'm right in saying some PC fanboys have been making crappy arguments because they don't know how to make decent quality vids?
@aussie114 Oh right, so why are you all arguing about video quality anyway? What's it got to do with the Mac vs PC? IMO Macs are a bit limited with the software for video's, well Final Cut is good I guess, the cheap one, otherwise it's iMovie I think? It does me anyway but I hardly ever use it lol.
@marksapollo there is no real point, just a bit of fun, well for me and Aaron anyway, Randy takes it to heart this is why he has uploaded 8 attempts at a 1080p video and failed 8 times.
@codebean ha ha great comment mate, I have told Randy I want a bit rate of 10,000,000 bits per second, but anything that is clear/looks decent will do.
Great way to put howdy on topic. And once again, techhelper1 had nothing to do with the video. He should of listened I said the video was TO HOWDY and I directly speak to howdy. But otherwise great quality on his end.

@mrbit10 I said I was doing this on a laptop, Randy definitely has a G5 desktop computer.

@mrbit10 actually just re-watched the video, when I said "very similar to yours" I meant your G5* I see what you did there, good spot.

jordler 6 months ago
@jordler It's not stealing, just sharing.
My mother always told me it was nice to share ^_^
commodore256 6 months ago
@commodore256 can i come and steal your computer and just call it "sharing"? <:+)
IgnorantPCFanboys 6 months ago
@IgnorantPCFanboys That would be theft, I'm talking about file sharing.
Copying is not theft.
Theft means one less left.
Copying it makes one thing more, that's what copies are for.
If I bought a watermelon from walmart and I "seeded" it, is that stealing? Am I stealing money from farmers by not buying another one?
commodore256 6 months ago
@commodore256 so copying sgt. pepper by the beatles is not theft?

@TheWootLee as long as it has the genuine windows logo/bubble on it, you know it is legit.

You should specify the bitrate i.e 4k/8k & fps 23/30 etc of the 1080p video, just to be clear about what constitutes as 'decent quality'.
LOL at the genuine copy of windows 7, it's about as genuine as randy & techelper1's 1080p vids.

aussie114 6 months ago
@aussie114 LOL, I can just imagine Randys crappy computer trying to render that kind of bitrate it would come out as pixelated slide show.

That was so funny with the windows disk.
