Zulian mounts aren't guaranteed. This is. I know people who spend more time grinding ZG than it takes for this mount, and they've never seen either mount drop

I think the Ravasaur quests are dailies, where you have to wait a full day, but takes about 25 days to complete total.

The wintersaber you can grind all day if you want, but it's a game burner, you'll get burnt out on it and might not enjoy the game as much afterwards... let's just say, if you're not really into collecting mounts, don't do the wintersaber :P

Yeah it is a burn-out quest, but I only have 20 more runs to get it. I'm doing about 6 to 8 runs a day. I started months ago but took six months off from the game. I see lvl 80s grinding for it so it must be a good mount. This is a good quest if you do skinning since you usually get about a stack of rugged leather per run and they sell in AH for 7.5-8 g each. I've made over 1000g with all of the leather and other drops.

Well it's not a "good" mount, it's just a rarer mount that little people have since it's just horrendous to farm. It's the same speed as every other mount... which is a shame really. Blizzard really needs to make the ridiculously long and boring to grind items more special. Make this mount 110% and Winterspring will be filled with 80s and world pvp :D SPECIALLY PVP players, getting to objectives faster in BGs would actually get me to grind this beast.

Well i faction changed so now im horde, i changed on like the first day so i was one of the first horde on my server with venomhide ravasaur... when u faction change thats what winterspring frostsaber turns into

"do not loot".....lol i got an epic ring, about 25 patterns, recipes, etc, like 100 greens, and at least 30 stacks of runecloth and the gold you loot from the mobs doing my grinding.

OH and about 200 Winterfall Spirit Beads, wich you can turn to the Timbermaw Hold faction for 300 rep for 5 beads !!

as I said in an earlier comment, not looting means less time, and if you wanna farm money, patterns, etc, go to Northrend! Cause looting means you also have to go back to Everlook to sell every now and then apart from right-clicking on the mob! As for the epic, gzz but you were just lucky :p

It's a choice between money and time, and imo go for time here, cause money ain't that much.

And your right its better to farm in northrend but you can also do it while grinding your frostsaber (wich you cant do in northrend lol). of course you wont get frostweave and stuff like that but as i said i got like 30 stacks of runecloth and exactly 222 winterfall spirit beads wich is a lot of rep. I personnaly prefer more time and more money then less time and less money lol.

something above 50 for the first, and 60-61 the elite giants I think (I quit WoW so I can't really remember). It's easy even for a non-geared 70, not to mention 80, no matter the class.

Just wanted to put in here, that if you play DK you can go and grind for this right on the spot after leaving arthas :o Im doing that atm, and you can always pull 6 mobs in a time (if not more)to kill what you need to, and the elites are easy to solo :p. It goes fast and gives nice exp AND money ^^

i bet you lost like 500-1000g on not looting, i am doing this atm, and i have earned like near 1000g already (epic dropped). but the most i earn money from is the leather. the looting dont take long time so you should loot!

Looting isn't only about doing the right-click on the mob. You get bags full, and that means you have to go back to Everlook to sell. I'm not a LW so I can't know bout leather. As for the epic, you were just lucky. :p
