  • Rest in peace Schultz. So sorry about your loss.

  • 2.) You tried so hard to help me to make this world a better place, although you had to see it from a different kind of face. But now I have a second job I don’t know how to do. To find forgiveness for the man who hurt both me and you. Your mission was to save my life, but on that fatal day, I didn’t feel so worthy as I watched you slip away. How hard it must have been for God to do what he must do. And when it causes so much pain, I’m sure He’s hurting too.

  • 3.) You’ll always be the greatest friend this man has ever known. You’ve stood by me through everything so I was not alone. But it was you who taught me what I never knew before. A friend that walks on two legs can’t compare to one on four. Yes, part of you will stay with me, as part of me’s with you. So if I start to cry sometimes, I’m crying now for two. For all of my tomorrows, I’ll be thankful I can say “Because of Shultz, I can wear my uniform today.”

  • 4.) And Shultz, they’ll remember you whenever they see me. Your name will always be a part of Gloucester Township’s History. So now my canine partner, there’s one thing I have to do. It breaks my heart to know that I must say good-bye to you. You’ve given up your life for mine and with these tears I pray “Please Rest in Peace, for you have made policemen proud today.” Your mission here is over now and for your sacrifice, I know God has a special place called “Schultz’s Paradise”.

  • I was at the Memorial Service for Schultz and it was sad very sad especially the final radio call. RIP Schultz I felt more safe with you doing what you do best Rest now Good Dog!

  • SPEECHLESS!!!! WELL DONE AND WELL DESERVED!!!! R.I.P. OFFICER SHULTZ!!!! AWESOME TRIBUTE FOR AN AWESOME OFFICER K-9 SHULTZ!!!!!!!

  • Even in his death...... All of these people came together with love and compassion.

I was so proud as a human being to feel the love in this world. It's still out there! If you thought love was lost. It's not.. He walked on 4 legs, and loved, lived, breathed, like you and I... Rest in Peace

  • A beautiful tribute - R.I.P. K9 Schultz

  • I am a local firefighter and haven't cried in years. When I first heard about this, hours after this tragic loss it didn't fully hit me until several hours after. After seeing the memorial service today; this video put me over the top. I was in tears at the end of this video. Does anyone have the quote from the end? RIP Brother, thank you for your sacrifice.
