@shirl5044 I watched Bill Maher today on his show. And he said Bush was responsible for 5 trillion dollars of deficit spending and Obama was responsible for 1.5. I don't really know. I think investment houses, banks, fannie and freddie and greedy people everywhere are responsible. I don't like the change Obama has brought. He is attempting to fundamentally change America and I believe in fundamentals in most things. Obama will move center. America will hamstring him with a Republican congress.

It's clear his sights were set on the White House early on. His limited time as a Senator and almost immediate aspiration to be President proves that. He couldn't care less about representing Illinois. If he did, he'd still be in the Senate. And yeah, he never "says" anything. He talks a lot though. The only thing that should be on the mind of a politician is protecting the life, liberty and property of Americans. That's it. If all he can vote is "present", then he ought not be a legislator.

When he assumed office in January 1981 Unemployment was at 7.4%, by January 1983 it was 10.8%!!!! FAILURE! That's 2 years in!!!! I won't even get into Iran Contra or Lebanon! Compare that to GWB Iraq over 4500 soldiers DEAD, Over 1 trillion dollars spent all for the recovery of imaginary WMD!

Could this interviewer possibly have imagined that this character would be running for President of the United States just seven years later? He asks him what qualifies him to run for Congress! Obama is a good mimic. He knows how to mimic the speech and vocabulary of an accomplished person, and thereby gets white liberals to hold doors open for him. But as we know now . . .he isn't.
