I have a question...do you believe that you can learn Mantis Kung Fu or any Kung Fu Style from DVD's such as these and be a proficient fighter?I heard that you can't learn from DVD's and that you need an instructor to teach you the essence of the forms.

Hey! Awesome! I studied this in Rochester, NY for 5 years! What's the lineage? My Sifu trained directly with Lee Kam Wing out of HK, and I think this is their favorite form. I've seen it many times. :D What city are you guys out of?
