Images are from a game called DEFCON. There is a real lesson to be learned from that game: Even if you do very well in a round and win, your population will suffer casualties by the millions. In real life you can add radioactive fallout to the mix and a few million more casualties in the process... There is no winner with nuclear war.

However this is only a simulation though. Even if the Nuclear War caused World War III there will be little or no survivors unless we can prevent it.

Did you set two AIs against each other? Because for some reason, whenenver I do US vs Russia with two AIs, the American AI is always a idiot, their fleets have ridiculous orders, they switch their silos to launch mode after the Russian subs are surfaced and are launching, and fail to use their own subs. The Russian AI wasn't much better, but they at least used subs.

I think it's what?. 160 nukes to totally obliterate the United States. That's NOT a whole lot of missiles! And sure nuclear fallout is the biggest aftermath concern, but rain will pretty much put a halt to too much spread once all the water is evaporated. But WO to those caught in that storm!!
