I am a huge fan of The Runaways since the seventies, their very beginning. Never thought a film would be made to show their lives. It is nice to see how good they were, despite bad critics at the time. I loved punk rock, and they were into it. Loved the film.

I honestly didn't get a CHANCE to discover the Runaways or Jett's solo career because Jett's first solo album came out a year before I was born. Happy to say as a 28 year old I'm just now discovering their music and I feel right at home. It's awesome.

not a fan of dakota fanning in the first place, but i think she really out did herself in this movie! but i think she was a bit young for the lesbian sex scenes and other profanity. just my opinion.

Lita Ford probably was a b**** because Cherie and Joan were concentrating on effing each other rather than making music. Lita OBVIOUSLY is the most talented out of them all. Sandy West was a good drummer too. But LITA is one of the best female rock guitarist ever....and Rolling Stones puts Joan Jett in top 100? WHAT??? JOAN ? please!

I enjoyed the Runaways when they came out an was glad they made the movie... It was a shame that the manager they had took their money. These were young girls a head of their time an just wanting to make music, they didn't know the business part of it that's why they had Kim the freak........They all were great.
