  • I just found one used yesterday and picked it up.So far I am very happy with it!I Im running it through a behringer bxl 1800a 180 watt bass amp with my Dean Z 79 and holly crap its wicked!!!

  • awesome! \mm/

  • very nice

  • Good playing dude, keep practising, keep riffing! And you showed exactly what this pedal can do, there are a lot of gear reviews on youtube that don't do that.

Can't believe you got 3 don't like ratings...their asshats must have slipped down over their eyes.

  • I have to ask what you're using to record! It sounds great!!!

  • @sirsteven88 I just plugged it into the mic input on my computer with a 1/4" to 1/8" cord, then used jet audio (free version) to record it.

  • Hey man!Where can i buy one???

  • This is digital pedal or analog?

  • @19maxi71 Don't know, and I don't mean to argue, but what difference does that make? Maybe you're not concerned about a tonal diff and there's some technical reason you prefer one or the other, but if its for tonal reasons . . . . I mean, if it sounds good and ya like it, why care about digital or analog?

  • If Anthrax ever needs a new shredder, You would be it bro, awesome!

  • Ha! If only. If---ONLY.

  • do you tune down the string??

  • Nope, standard E.

  • sounds a bit fuzzy but i guess thats the recording process, i get that with my equipment, cheers for the demo

  • you may not be able to solo (don't know about that) but your rhythms are killer. Excellent pedal as well.

  • hey man i have the cort evl k4 guitar with emg HZ pickups and i'm using a crate fw15r with a 12" speaker so is this pedal suitable for metal and my equipement?

    thx in advance.

  • I have a $200 ESP guitar with their sucky (relatively speaking) stock pickups and I ran it straight into the computer. I'm pretty sure it's suitable for any setup.

  • it doesn't matter what guitar you have and what equipment you play with, the pedal will work if it's a guitar. EMGHZ pickups work particullarly well with this kind of high gain distortion pedals, I've played this pedal in a music store in my town, and I asure, if you like what you hear in this vid, get the pedal, it's a sound monster, I'd buy it myself if I didn't have the signature series of Disturbed's Dan Donegan, by Digitech as well. they're both extremely good pedals

  • i got my guitar about 1 month ago and i don't know anything so that's why im asking. But thanks anyway

  • Dude, seriously, you're typing, so I'd say it's reasonable to assume you can read, right?

  • Madhouse by Anthrax

  • No, don't help them, it's IN THE FUCKING VIDEO TITLE! If they can't figure it out on their own they don't deserve to know it.

  • great job dude

i might get this pedal for 70 bucks

  • I got mine used for $42 on ebay. $42 after shipping. Oh yeah, I pwn.

  • Thanks.

  • I love scott ians sound

    and I love his music.

is buying this pedal for $100 a good deal?

  • I wouldn't say it's a good deal per se (it's the standard deal), but if you love Ian's sound, it's a helluva lot cheaper than even one of the amps he uses. Also fyi it sounds most like Anthrax when plugged in direct to a mixer/recording device.

  • if this is shit why is this their best song and they are one of the best thrash metal bands ever

  • do you think this would be good for an alexi laiho from children of bodom kinda sound or do you think a tech 21 sansamp gt2 would be better? or if you have a better idea i'd like to know

  • i have this pedal and it can make much better sounds than this shit

  • I have this pedal and it's heavy and hard enough to cave in your skull cavity, dipshit.

  • agreed

  • How does it sound on solid state amps? does it get the crunch like Scott got in the demo video?

  • I can only say how it sounds on my POS amp, and it ain't too good. It's okay, but not good. I'm pretty sure it was specifically designed to be played straight into a mixing board or other recording device.

  • hey have you tried a death metal pedal, and just wanna know is there much difference, im not fussed on the death metal so would like someones input, im looking a good metallica sound and need the right pedalas i've the right guitar and im running through a vox VT as i play other types of rock

  • Sorry, haven't played a death metal pedal. Played a metal master, though.

  • well i tryed the black 13 and death metal pedal from digitech and if you had to compare. well the black 13 blows the death metal pedal out of the water. so go for the black 13 for 50 bucks more its worth it trust me.

  • where did u get it because i want oneand how much

  • I actually got mine for $42 American total on ebay, used. I think it was like 36 plus 6 for shipping.

  • i want one now

  • Pedal's tight, ain't it? One thing though: it only sounds that good recording direct, so don't expect to plug it into an amp (then again, maybe it's only shitty amps like mine that make it sound like balls, idk).

  • heyyy man what do you mean? respect that you donñt understood :S me either!!! peace!!

No entiendes.

  • i've got this pedal too, i think it's a little muddy. But with an tubescreamer or an eq with a mid-boost set before the pedal, you get an excellent chunky tone!

  • damn!!!! i want to buy this awesome pedal but ididnt findit ani where:( where do you get it???

  • You can get them from musician's friend and I think also guitar center (both storeshave websites and mail order options) or you could look for one on ebay used. It'll sound the same.

  • Don´t downrate your guitar skills so much ... you play very well and i like your pedal

    Keep on rockin

  • Thanks, dude, and I will.

    You keep on rockin, too.

  • you can play this song better than scot ian can

  • Holy titty-fucking christ, now THAT'S a compliment! I think Scotty plays the song better, but a big thanks for the uplift all the same. ;D

  • its alright man

its how you edited it making your guitar louder than the mp3 but overall i just thourght made the guitars in the actual song louder

  • Thanks for this video! I love the sound. :]

  • Thanks ive been long for the Sound of this Pedal

    FUCK YEAH THANKS

  • No problem, it was fun to play.

  • This pedal is EVIL!! damn..

  • Get thee behind me, SATAN. lol

  • sounds amazing but can u please post a video of u playing some riffs without it. then playing the same riffs with it. Because it is obvious how nice of a sound it makes, but i would like to hear how much of DIFFERENCE it makes. please do even if it is just a minute. thank you

  • I don't think that's gonna happen. When I listened to this after recording it I couldn't believe how few mistakes I made. I don't wanna jinx it.

  • I got this pedal, too, but i don't like the sound. not my definition of a good metal pedal. but it's a great pedal, which a great flexibillity.

so try it and then decide if you wanna buy this or not.

  • I didn't like it at first either until I heard it direct from out 2 to a recording device. Also my shitty makes it sound like...well shit, to be redundant. I put it on my brother's Roland Micro Cube through the JC clean setting and it sounded 5 times better.

  • I confirm! The JC is great for pedals!

  • *Also my shitty "amp" makes it sound like...well, shit*

  • sounds good to me, in fact I just stole it from you!
