This is a great tune from a great album! "Smile" begins Laura's transition from her early days of wild musical energy, and vividly imaginative lyrics, to a more Jazzy groove, with lyrics that tend to follow more linear story telling.

I love both phases of her career!

This is an amazing album. I saw this tour in Albuquerque back in the late 70's. There were at least 4 or 5 women in the band. They totally kicked butt. I have seen hundreds of bands from Hendrix to Return to forever and this was one of the most professional, tight, musical live shows ever.

I forgot how sweet and smooth this song was. I must have worn the vinyl out on this Lp back in the day. Lol:) I forgot about "Money". Loved that track too.
