Don't get me wrong I loved the first game I've played through it a few times but the voices improved from the second game onwards because the characters in the first one talked really slowly and monotone but when I played the second one the voices were much better

I've played the first 3 games. & even though I have to play it in the same room with some1 (LoL), I love the series. I just need to get to the next 2. . . :)
I love these game series. But when I first tried this one on ps3, I thought the controller was horrible compared to porject zero II to xbox. They should've put the movement of the character on the right stick in camera mode instead so u can move urself AND the camera at the same time. I used this on the xbox alot and saved me much trouble when trying to take close epic pictures of the ghosts..
It's weird how people in scary movies are always like "Don't worry, we'll be okay." then a minute later, your four best friends are dead and Legion has killed them all...

You have to be the one to make your life purposeful, not other people. If you chose to dwell on a lost cause like that, then apparently, you want to be miserable the rest of your life. There is a point where you let it go and try to heal. This chick is obviously not there yet, because she hasn't got the sense to wonder, "Where the hell am I and how did I get here? And why is that ghost dude with the knife trying to kill me?"
She's not trying to "kill" the ghosts. The ghosts are already dead, how the hell would you manage that? She's using the camera to trap their spirits in film. You probably never heard of it, but there's an old wives' tale that says every time one's picture is taken, a part of their soul is sealed within the picture. That's what this series is based on, so no, I don't particularly find that part stupid. It's an interesting change from guns and ammo.
and that crazy magic is called "Occultism",i would like to have a Camera Obscura inside my house and if reika comes up to me i would take my camera and-i think i dont need to say anything more,did i?-...
So yeah, I'm going to follow my dead husband through some random, creepy-ass house, spot some ghosts on the way, get chased by one holding a knife, and all the while I'm going to LIGHTLY JOG. Why put in the effort, they only want me dead....
this is worth it eventhough i almost pee(d) in my pants the first time i saw a ghost apprearing outta nowher when i looked through my camera at somewhere....

I abosolutly agree. I love silent hill series. And fatal frame too. Fatal Frame is hands down the most scarist series out to buy. I love playing it in the complete dark. Some times I cant even go to sleep. Fucking love it!!
Scariest Game genre HANDS DOWN! Fuck Resident Evil & Silent Hill (though Silent Hill can get you sometimes), but Fatal Frame is the ONLY video game to scare the shit out of me. I could only play this game for 30mins - 1hr at a time then I absolutelly MUST take a break before I scare myself into a trance. I love these games and beat part 1 and 2 (was tough to do. Lota mental preperation needs to go into consideration), but wussed out in the midle of part 3. It became too much for me, lol.
i play it alone every night around 1 am. i think im nearly finished. its not that scary when you played long enough. as you get deeper through the game, there will be a lot of ghosts in your house. sorry for being a spoiler.

Yep, Pt 2 is even harder to get, at least in germany. Envy me!! I got pt 1, 2 and 3 xD And i love them all!!! Got pt1 for 19€, pt2 for 45€ and pt3 for 30€. both, pt2 and 3 are used but were in good shape. If you like survival horror and j-horror you HAVE to play this games!!

In Hour XI when you play as Rei, go to the Foyer. There, a Stroller Grandma will attack you, and she is REALLY STRONG. When you defeat her you will get the key.

this game is poop. little bi*ch runs like my 80 year old gränne. and what is it with the lame camera as a weapon thingy? you have to wait until a ghost is all up in your sh*t before you can fatal frame it. lamer than lame is when you have to read through pages of crap just to get more pages of crap or when it takes five minutes for you to run down your stairs to talk to the little prostitute who brings you all your pages of crap.

This game is way more scary than silent hill, and if I'm not mistaken, fatal frame 2 crimson butterflies was based on a real life story in japan. nice
The camera is your weapon in the game. What makes the fatal frame so scary is that it's a psychological suspense. Plus other survival horror games give you weapons to make you feel "safe". In fatal frame you get an antique camera to ward off and capture spirits.

In Hour XI when you play as Rei, go to the Foyer. There, a Stroller Grandma will attack you, and she is REALLY STRONG. When you defeat her you will get the key.

this game is poop. little bi*ch runs like my 80 year old gränne. and what is it with the lame camera as a weapon thingy? you have to wait until a ghost is all up in your sh*t before you can fatal frame it. lamer than lame is when you have to read through pages of crap just to get more pages of crap or when it takes five minutes for you to run down your stairs to talk to the little prostitute who brings you all your pages of crap.

okay..you dont have to diss it that bad..its actually pretty fun...and you get used to the running after a while-and i will admit it she runs like a granny-but if you forget the negatives..its a pretty scary game..

it does a tiny bit, the guy in the game is looking for Mio which is his cousin, that is the only tie however to fatal frame 2 :) the forth game coming out for the ps3 will continue from fatal frame 2

The camera is your weapon in the game. What makes the fatal frame so scary is that it's a psychological suspense. Plus other survival horror games give you weapons to make you feel "safe". In fatal frame you get an antique camera to ward off and capture spirits.
