another great tip, especially in l4d1 where there are no spitters, is to corner yourself when you are boomed, causing all zombies to come from in front of you where they can be easily dispatched

When playing versus as the survivors, ALWAYS stay together as a team. You have a better chance of making it to the safe room, than if you run ahead of your team mates. And, attack the survivors in force as soon as they exit the safe room, better chance of knocking them all out at once.

if you ever buy a xbox and left 4 dead 2 look how cooperative we are : we claw each other when someone grabbed a survivor, as a tank we punch the hunter/jockey/charger/smoker who caught the survivor, we ragequit for not pwning and we kick all the time (espically when we do strategy by the patience), when someone is a tank everyone makes less effort to catch survivors (tank die easily if he get caught in the middle of a survivor square, best way for you to never ever play again l4d 2 on xbox l:|

back before they patched it...setting yourself on fire mean extra dammage when you pounced i dont know how much it actually dealt but i did hear rumor that if you had hit a 25 damage pounce on fire it would add 10 to = to 35 but idk for sure

They patched it so the damage done is reduced, instead of being large chunks of health, its drains by 1 every.. 0.2-0.4 seconds. On top of that is the normal damage that the Hunter does.

As of the patch that "fixed" fire damage on hunters: they only do slightly more damage from player created fire sources, not world fire.

Its nice that you state my friends and not my clan-mates =] some people are getting more excited that the others do while playing versus so they sound "arrogant". And sometimes the other team flame so thats the result of my friends "being arrogant". And watch the funny moments to see some fail moments if you want to.

"People get grey hairs over perfection", and usually will kick you or be assholes if you do otherwise. People like these is why I hate playing versus. I wanna play for fun, but the arrogant players will never let me. This is why versus NEEDS to be in single player. I have no idea why Valave doesn't do it, as they did it with TF2, a game much more advanced combat-wise.

@Bittergamer1886 its not that these guys are good infected, its that from what ive seen the survivors are playing dumb and keep getting separated, for instance, francis at 1:45, and bill at 3:40. real hardcore players will always be in the same room within the same walls roughly feet from eachother at all times and in most situations even well strategized syncronized infected attacks can be thwarted easily.
