I think when Boomer turns blue he has more defense but less offense, and when he turns red he has less defense but more offense.

I have never gotten a single character to max-level in this game.

If you really CAN oneshot everything at that level, though, it might almost be worth the effort.

Yeah, I've noticed this, and make an attempt in future videos not to kill many enemies so I don't get MORE powerful.

It's quite the counter-intuitive situation, you want to be strong to be able to beat the enemies but at the same time if you're too strong then there's no challenge or fun in it for ya either, you know?
