Some of the best examples of Okkervil River 'pulling the trigger' in these verses. "theres no room in your heart.. for even this finely sharpen dart" SMACK. "Although I put my lips to your face, trying to push his kiss out of its place" SLAP. "your seceretly still in love with a stone" POW. The stone being the asshole guy (maybe x) of hers who doesnt even care or heart. Brilliant. We all been there. Actually not me but still somehow dirt digging-heart wrenching-floor sweepingly relatable
