Where do you think I walk my cat? In the wilds of Northern Idaho? No, I walk him in my neighborhood in Texas. We live on a golf course, so there's lots of room. Also, I can assure you that one loud yell out of me--and any predator--coyote or otherwise would be gone faster than the snow that fell here last month. BTW, I grew up in N. Idaho, and have seen more coyotes than you've seen viable informaton on cat training--judging by your comment.
His name is Kit Casanova, and most peoploe comment that he is the happiest cat they've ever met--as well as being extremely intelligent and well trained.
Who are you, anyway? And how can you possibly consider yourself competent to judge either a cat whom you've never met or his owner? Sounds like you need a little training yourself--in manners, and in
He has plenty of opportunity, since he sleeps cuddled up next to me nearly every night. He falls asleep purring as I rub his soft tummy. And, when he wakes up, he knows that a delicious breakfast for him is first on my agenda, so my happy cat awakens me with gentle head butts and more purring. Sorry to disappoint you, mrproper 15. BTW, is the 15 your age or your IQ?
you are crazy. sorry. and i love cats and dogs. and i happen to own the smartest cat, ever and a dog who people consider a human. but i consider you crazy, and thats saying something coming from me. also pets DO NOT belong in a resturant. also you do not look like ur cat. i also wanna point out that your cat was mad he was being held.
I may not look like my cat, but I am wondering which of your pets you resemble. BTW, Kit Casanova, my 3-year old cat, jumps through a hoop suspended from a 10-foot ceiling!
Wearing a cute little military outfit with matching bandanna and a confident look, Kit leaps through the hoop, a 9 foot start-to-finish trajectory! I then designed postcards and have sent
over 40,000 postcards of Kit jumping, to our military troops overseas.
I think this woman seriously needs some psychiatric help! Whats that shit about the cat likes to dress up? and let me guess, she's probably had it's claws ripped out. And no they don't resemble each other, she belongs on a loony bin!
Says Kit Casanova: "YOU are the one who needs psychiatric help if you can't even figure out that cats, like people, love attention and admiration. By the way, my claws are long and sharp--perfect for convincing you (without ever having to touch you) that you are exactly who you claim to be: Little Miss DeMEANor--with the emphasis on the MEAN."
Kit Casanova, the cat using the potty in this video is amazing! He, or she is also extraordinarily beautiful. What kind of a cat it it? Is he the same cat that I saw videos of jumping through hoops for our troops"
Sorry, dogs cannot be trained to use the toilet. Cats are easily trained because the training consists of using habits, positions, and athletic manuvers that they learn from their mother. Dogs, on the other hand, are built differently, with entirely different habits an patterns of movement.
Kit Casanova is doing great with the potty, even though we have lived in 3 different places in the last 2 1/2 weeks. Establishing the habit is the important part. Most cats like doing it since it's cleaner. People ask me why I don't teach him to flush and I tell them it's because I don't want the highest water bill in all of Texas. Trisha
Yes, it is true that like people, cats all have different personalities and temperaments! Kit Casanova, prefers just one potty. We recently moved,so he is becoming adjusted because we brought his original toilet seat with us. Good luck with your cats! Kit Casanova has recently been recruited for a part in a movie--pays well, too. But even better, he will love it. He is a real ham!
I suggest you get a female Great Dane, name her Greta, and when she's in heat train her to stand outside the bathroom door in the morning. Go into the bathroom with your male, and when he's finished going in the toilet, say: "Good potty! Get Greta!" This should teach him not to linger.
Trisha, thanks for the tips. I'm in the process of toilet training our three cats. It's coming along well. Each cat has it's own personality and approach to things, so they don't all respond the same way. Two of the cats need more direction and positive reinforcment to get the job done.
cats are independent but can lean, dogs are pack submisive animals. Even the agressive pit bul will recognize one alpha leader or threat

Dogs may be better at fetching the paper, but cats are way better at keeping themselves and the house clean!
