  • can anyone help i have this my main problem is lack of energy going back to bed 2 and 3 times a day i need to know what to do when am working how to stay fit and what foods to eat through the day without feeling sleepy and what i could drink

  • I can't understand why the medical profession as a whole doesn't embrace this way of treating such a common illness. Its so hard to find a doctor or specialist who will treat you with natural thyroid here in Aus. Yet the difference is astounding. Having tried T4 only, which made me feel awful, I finally found a doctor who gave me thyroid extract, the difference is amazing. You actually feel like a new person.

  • This book is lifechanging - best book I ever read - wish I knew years ago!

  • PLease Subscribe to me ;)...Love the Cool Video, thanks...

  • He says he started to take "thyroid" Can he be any more UNclear? He should state exactly what he took that helped him. Very frustrating video!

  • @heyjenknee He said "Armour" thyroid at the beginning of the video. I order my Armour from "Cross Border Pharmacy" in Canada. Their brand is just called "Thyroid" but it is the same as the Armour brand name.

  • @Praise2Yahweh Hello :) I definitely missed the "Armour" part ! Thank-you very much for letting me know I will check into it ! Take care.

  • There is plenty of iodine as well as detoxing and alkalining nutrients in many raw vegetables.

If people would stop cooking half the nutrients out of their food they would quickly find that the remedies and cures are in the raw/organic diet not in synthetically isolated laboratory created medications.

  • Did the doctor say why Armour wasn't good? I am on Synthroid and my sister is on Armour. My doctor wont prescribe it either and is not clear why. I live in NYC and finding a good doctor is harder than finding gold in your back yard. I feel the same as you do. I am tired, my hair is falling out, I am depressed, and I cant lose weight no matter what I do. I fear it will only get worse....and it is.

  • I'm more into holistic medicine, Ive been reading that taking kelp tablets help with the thyriod and lymphatic system. Kelp is a natural plant from the sea, it is rich in minerals including a natural source of the mineral "iodine" which the thyriod is basically made out of. look up hypothyriodism, iodine deficency, kelp thyriod benefits. Most non-holistic doctors will not recommend anything natural & will only address 1 health problem instead of the whole body and whats going on.

  • i tried armour i didnt like it. may be i didnt give a long enough go i tried it for 3 months

  • I have a low thyriod, and it took over a year before the doctors could get the right dose of Synthriod for me. You may need to change the dose, or maybe you need a new doctor who will work with you.

    Good luck

  • I'm 33 with 4 kids and I couldn't get out of bed for about 1 1/2 yrs, I had my thyroid taken out then I started SYNTHROID I wanted to die I couldn't stand up enough to brush my hair or teeth, forget doing things with the kids! I quit taking synthroid for 2 weeks, later went to my endo didn't tell him I didn't take it took blood test went back 2 weeks later he said my levels were great I told him I haven't taken it for a month went to my family dr. now I'm on ARMOUR within 2 days I felt great!!!!

  • @MAMASUE07 It's sad when we have to take charge of our own health...even while PAYING supposed experts. Synthroid DOES NOT WORK FOR EVERYONE. I'm living proof. If I hadn't started being proactive (and yes even self medicating, which I'm not advising AT ALL), then I'd probably either be dead of institutionalized by now. I take the generic form of Armour now and while I'm still tinkering with optimal dosage, I feel better than I have since before my thyroid nightmare began 5 yrs ago.

  • @Quadmom2005 synthroid hasn't worked for me either and i'm thinking of doing the same with the armour. i've been gaining weight and on of my dr.s just told me that my thyroid is a bit enlarged. are you getting it from your dr. or online pharm? i'm not sure where to turn with repect to a source. all the dr.s i've spoken to keep pushing synthroid. and everytime i go to the dr.s i keep seeing the same drug rep. who suppies the synthroid. i really need an alternative.

  • get another doctor......she sucks.....she obviously lack some of the skills needed to be a doctor, and will not look into your problem any further than a pill.

    get another doctor

  • Wow! If only I could find a doctor like Dr Langer. Ive been diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and have been taking thyroid medication for 6 months now. They started me on a small dose and regular blood tests show its not helping, so the meds are being increased. Im due for my next lot of bloodtests and can honestly say, I still feel terrible. The chronic fatigue has taken over my life and quality of life is bad. I saw the endocrineologist and asked about Armour. She did not want me on it.

  • She basically shrugged her shoulders when I told her, about my symptoms, she said until my levels are sorted I can expect to feel that way!! I cannot function properly and really have a hard time of it. There are days I cannot even lift my arms to comb my hair. No exaggeration. Im desperate to feel normal. Its been many years since I've had any energy or muscle strength. The other symptoms of Dry skin, depression, weight gain are also soul destroying. Please could you advise me on what to do??

  • WOW! Thank you so much for posting!!
