It is "stroked" for an M50. Stock bore is 84mm, stock stroke is 75mm. This is an M52 crankshaft (2.8L engine from 328) so now the stroke is 84mm and the bore is over 84.
I'm really going to have to nail a turbo onto my E34 Track day car. Only problem I've got (well, there's quite a few actualy but this is one of the bigger problems) is that mine is right hand drive so the steering colum goes straight through where the exhaust down pipe wants to go!

Prob go to the DTA S80 in a few weeks - I need to get the motor broken in before I attempt to switch ECUs. New ECUs are tricky on a new motor because you don't have much opportunity before you flood past the rings and stuff

Its on a standalone... it idles fine, it has a 4" open downpipe and thats what it sounds like when you practically have no exhaust

It actually didnt need a tune much. It needed the throttle body opened and about 5% more fuel. Drove it 1000 miles after that :)
