I believe this is from 1982 and from the show "There's Nothing to Worry About". The actors are Paul Shearer, Emma Thompson, Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry. Paul Shearer was replaced by Robbie Coltrane at some point, so this must be one of the earlier shows. The sketch was probably written by Fry & Laurie, as the characters Alan and Bernard already featured in their Footlights comedy, and would later appear as Gordon and Stewart in A Bit of Fry and Laurie".
Stephen is.... entertaining, to express it very mildly indeed. He jumps about like a mad hamster. Makes me laugh to bits. Stephen being physical is always a real sweet.
You are right sucuruju, ET didn't appear on ABOF&L, strange given the number of old friends that did appear. 1982 is right for Cambridge Footlights. Marvellous entertainers, I never tire of them.
I think it's Cambridge footlights, because from the programme which Footlights did 1982 "The Celler tape", they did a sketch (Hugh, Stephen, Tony Slatery etc), including a character played by Stephen called Bernard, just like in this. So it's the same characters, I suppose. I never tire of them either... they're glowingly brilliant...

Yes, I'm quite surprised that she never appeared on ABOFAL, it seems as though she'd fit right in!

Hugh has ravishing legs.
I would give a kidney to play tennis with this group, even though I suck at tennis
