@DigiKamn no its an 08 and it does have an aux input...he has the sun and sound package. oh DDM tuning has a bypass i believe thats where he got his from.

I have yet to find a Civic Si in my city that can keep up with my 2.4 GTS.
140 pounds of torque on a 3000 car is nothing to brag about , they got a 6.7 second 0-60 test .3 seconds quicker then the 4b12 5 speed GTS. With numbers this close it all comes down to driver skill and modifications.
@joshgts If you put 2 drivers who generally know how to shift with no modifications done to either of the cars, overall Civic Si stock should be spanking Lancer GTS stock all day. But ill take Ralliart over Si all day as well :) You can tune stock Ralliart to 21psi with slightly higher torque than stock Evo X and with slightly reduced horsepower than Evo X :)
@pogimhark the only difference is that an RSX has a weight advantage but TL has more hp and torque than a RSX...a TL is faster than a RSX neway sooooooo..............

@swat305GINO yea i actually stopped the camera it was pitiful lol.well to do that your going to have to get a turbo kit and possibly build your engine to gain that much horse power.also invest in a good exhaust and your going to have to go catless cause the catalytic converter does restrict a fair amount of HP. theres brands out there lke RoadRaceMotorsports who have turbo kits that give really good gains or u could do your own custom set up if you want. haha need nething else lemme kno man

Try to stay up on my car knowledge...yea sure like what your gonna replace it with is usually called a "race pipe" or "test pipe" and its pretty much a straight pipe where your catalytic converter was. Just google around for people who sell em er check on your lancer forums to see what brand most people use. It can be illegal and if you live in a state that has annual inspections your car may not pass inspection so thats something u have to consider too.

@bbblopez wellllll....if you listen at 4:42 u can hear the si shifting real slow but gains ground in each gear while the gts is shifting relatively quick...and at 5:12 the si shifts quick and he pulls away...gts is still shifting the same...also in this video the gts only had exhaust while the civic had intake, headers, and exhaust
the 11:1 is on the civic si and 10:1 is on the 4b11...this comparison shows that static comp ratio can make significant difference in output power/tq...and the valve timing and lift profile and the dual vvt takes the job on dynamically comp. which brings out significant top end power/tq...what i'm saying here it is plausible for tuners to make this gts goes faster...there is plenty of rooms for us to make this gts more powerfull...but, civic si is a ready made high performance na car...
the advantages for civic si are it has 11:1 comp. ratio which is above than average comp. ratio for any conventional car, also it has i-VTEC which is engage high lifted plus advanced timing valve once it kickin' ass on the high rpm...the 4b11 na has only variable valve timing...but...it has dual, the intake and exhaust...and don't forget that if 4b11 is tuned up to fit higher comp it will has what it takes to get side by side or even smoke the civic si...the gts more into good looking saloon
@speedfreak127 The lancer is a 2008 GTS and its axle back Greddy doesnt carry cat back for this car. its on the Greddy website under TI C exhausts if u wanna c it. he also has an Injen cold air inake that he installed after his vid was posted. he is building his engine and also turboing his car also soonish. lets just say when hes done he will be walking evos, sti's, anything thats turbod.

@Acura yea the 08' is like 10 hp and 30 tq slower than the 09'. It does have low end rpm lag but that's what the short ram is for. People dis on cars that dominate the car market. When really look at the civic. You never see it in professional racing or rallies. Proof enough that the civic is cheap to mod yes but worth it for speed... Not so much

People are funny. Cvt. Continuously variable transmission. It means we have no shifting delay. Meaning while you let off the gas for that split second to clutch, we continue going. I can get my 09' gts to max speed and it's stock. People just don't know how to drive it. After 100 you go to manual till it reds then go to auto. You'll be at like 120 by then. The other 20 goes really easy.

@ragonbrown maybe but then again u do have to think about the hp gap between the cars. the SI from the factory has 197 hp and had intake, headers, and exhaust while the GTS from the factory has 152 hp and had just had a axle back exhaust. the SI is 96 pounds lighter but had 2 people in it and the GTS only had one. the GTS doesnt have traction control (atleast his didnt) and i kno the SI does but idk if he had it on or off. and haha theres only one way to use mivec or vtec and thts to floot it...
there is no way the civic was accually trying... a civic si would smoke a gts no problem especially you have cvt in that gts once the civic hits vtec hes gone... gts's arent that fast. my brother has an si coupe that thing flies. just saying

@AcuraBoi32 Yeah I really wanted a manual transmission one too but I wasn't able to get one. REALLY wish I had one though because the CVT can't handle too much horsepower.
@AcuraBoi32 Yeah I agree all the way with that and I do love my car :). But yeah the CVT uses belts that apparently can't handle much HP due to the friction that gets created. But it must be able to handle a decent amount if it can be turbo'd? I'm not really an expert or anything so I really can't be certain. I think I'm going to get a 50 shot for my next upgrade though. And I was told that it can handle that with no problem. So that should give some good performance :P

since when is a almost 2400lbs 168hp car.... faster than a 2000lbs 197hp car? this is not a challenge....the GTS is fun and nice.....no match or an SI....might have more torque, but it hits 60mph in like 7.6 secs...while the si can do it in 6.6...proven..appraised transmission, car of the year in 2007....no diss on the mitsu, but come on guys.....
@07SiPOWER i agree with you man. i own a honda product myself (2006 acura tl). im not taking sides or anything but both are real good cars and i think it was just a good race n all for the class their in. the SI in this video had a intake, headers, and exhaust and the GTS had just a exhaust. from the get go it technically wasnt a "even" race anyway. also you can clearly hear the SI granny shifting the whole time too and the GTS wasnt. but it was more of a class race i guess.

The Ralliart is alright , although I'm not a fan of automatic transmissions . Ralliart is just another tease. Go Evo x GSR 5 speed or go home.

And I was wondering what I can do to my 08 lancer es to give it like 100 more or 200 more horse power I plan on adding carbon fiber hood and A carbon fiber rear hood and taking out the back seats for weight reduction but idk what engine I could swap it with or add to its original engine, got any ideas I would much appreciate it and the parts with on to the next one in your video was funny as hell lol.

@swat305GINO yea i actually stopped the camera it was pitiful lol.well to do that your going to have to get a turbo kit and possibly build your engine to gain that much horse power.also invest in a good exhaust and your going to have to go catless cause the catalytic converter does restrict a fair amount of HP. theres brands out there lke RoadRaceMotorsports who have turbo kits that give really good gains or u could do your own custom set up if you want. haha need nething else lemme kno man

Try to stay up on my car knowledge...yea sure like what your gonna replace it with is usually called a "race pipe" or "test pipe" and its pretty much a straight pipe where your catalytic converter was. Just google around for people who sell em er check on your lancer forums to see what brand most people use. It can be illegal and if you live in a state that has annual inspections your car may not pass inspection so thats something u have to consider too.

@bbblopez wellllll....if you listen at 4:42 u can hear the si shifting real slow but gains ground in each gear while the gts is shifting relatively quick...and at 5:12 the si shifts quick and he pulls away...gts is still shifting the same...also in this video the gts only had exhaust while the civic had intake, headers, and exhaust

the 11:1 is on the civic si and 10:1 is on the 4b11...this comparison shows that static comp ratio can make significant difference in output power/tq...and the valve timing and lift profile and the dual vvt takes the job on dynamically comp. which brings out significant top end power/tq...what i'm saying here it is plausible for tuners to make this gts goes faster...there is plenty of rooms for us to make this gts more powerfull...but, civic si is a ready made high performance na car...

the advantages for civic si are it has 11:1 comp. ratio which is above than average comp. ratio for any conventional car, also it has i-VTEC which is engage high lifted plus advanced timing valve once it kickin' ass on the high rpm...the 4b11 na has only variable valve timing...but...it has dual, the intake and exhaust...and don't forget that if 4b11 is tuned up to fit higher comp it will has what it takes to get side by side or even smoke the civic si...the gts more into good looking saloon

@speedfreak127 The lancer is a 2008 GTS and its axle back Greddy doesnt carry cat back for this car. its on the Greddy website under TI C exhausts if u wanna c it. he also has an Injen cold air inake that he installed after his vid was posted. he is building his engine and also turboing his car also soonish. lets just say when hes done he will be walking evos, sti's, anything thats turbod.

@Acura yea the 08' is like 10 hp and 30 tq slower than the 09'. It does have low end rpm lag but that's what the short ram is for. People dis on cars that dominate the car market. When really look at the civic. You never see it in professional racing or rallies. Proof enough that the civic is cheap to mod yes but worth it for speed... Not so much

People are funny. Cvt. Continuously variable transmission. It means we have no shifting delay. Meaning while you let off the gas for that split second to clutch, we continue going. I can get my 09' gts to max speed and it's stock. People just don't know how to drive it. After 100 you go to manual till it reds then go to auto. You'll be at like 120 by then. The other 20 goes really easy.

@ragonbrown maybe but then again u do have to think about the hp gap between the cars. the SI from the factory has 197 hp and had intake, headers, and exhaust while the GTS from the factory has 152 hp and had just had a axle back exhaust. the SI is 96 pounds lighter but had 2 people in it and the GTS only had one. the GTS doesnt have traction control (atleast his didnt) and i kno the SI does but idk if he had it on or off. and haha theres only one way to use mivec or vtec and thts to floot it...

@AcuraBoi32 Yeah I agree all the way with that and I do love my car :). But yeah the CVT uses belts that apparently can't handle much HP due to the friction that gets created. But it must be able to handle a decent amount if it can be turbo'd? I'm not really an expert or anything so I really can't be certain. I think I'm going to get a 50 shot for my next upgrade though. And I was told that it can handle that with no problem. So that should give some good performance :P

since when is a almost 2400lbs 168hp car.... faster than a 2000lbs 197hp car? this is not a challenge....the GTS is fun and nice.....no match or an SI....might have more torque, but it hits 60mph in like 7.6 secs...while the si can do it in 6.6...proven..appraised transmission, car of the year in 2007....no diss on the mitsu, but come on guys.....

@07SiPOWER i agree with you man. i own a honda product myself (2006 acura tl). im not taking sides or anything but both are real good cars and i think it was just a good race n all for the class their in. the SI in this video had a intake, headers, and exhaust and the GTS had just a exhaust. from the get go it technically wasnt a "even" race anyway. also you can clearly hear the SI granny shifting the whole time too and the GTS wasnt. but it was more of a class race i guess.
