the engine is'nt the most powerful or fastest which is okay with me since i just ride it to campus and work taking neighborhood back roads. If you want to get on big main roads this isn't the right scooter for that, but if you need an easy transportation for close distances with a speed of max 40 miles per hour than this would be the idle scooter. Also it got rained on and still works like a charm! Hope this helps!
