I bought this tape when it came out. Glad to see the songs message still touches young people 20 years later. Goosebumps. THIS...IS...THE...LIFE...YOU HAVE.
Having gone through the loss of a father and the breakdown of a marriage in quick succession I can safely say this song nails it for me. Life is beautiful no matter how hard you think it is.
I saw them 17 years ago, with Guns and Roses and the Rolling Stones at R.F.K. Stadium, and Living Clour blew both bands off the stage..they are truly a great band, and yes, very underrated!!!!
I love this song. How people make themselves suffer unnecessarily and as a consequence make people around them suffer with it.THIS is your life, treat it like its special.
That is an essential part of the song; it evokes Indian mysticism and brings musical context to the vocals when it discusses all of the possibilities you could have been i.e. reincarnation, a central theme of Hinduism, the major religion in. (see above) And don't spam me because you are thick as two short planks Taff

I met a Dutch girl. She was wearing inflatable footwear.
I rang her for a date but sadly she had popped her clogs.
In another life....

A brilliant song from one of the greatest albums (in my opinion) of all time. Speaks directly to the soul and the karma lying within.

Such powerful lyrics and emotion this song has, unfortunately more people did not notice. Still one of the best in my book.

Too bad there was never a video made for this song.
I think it's, lyric-wise, one of the best songs ever written.
If people really tried to understand what this song is all about, they would ultimately become better human beings.
I know I have.
I've been down with the LC for 20 years now, finally saw them live at 013 Tilburg, holland 2008...It was the best show I've ever seen.
