If most of the music you're familiar with is the Pop music that's familiar today, you might want to check out people like Minnie Ripperton, Aretha Franklin, and Brad Delp (the band Boston). Those are some amazing singers! I would even call Christina Aguilera a great singer... But not Beyonce.
