Hi, few questions. I'm trying to understand what parts of the jade tree, if cut, will have the potential of new growth eventually. For example, will you eventually have new growth in the area of your Oops? All the single leaves you cut, will there be new growth in those areas? About the only place I know you do have new growth eventually if cut is that little top piece you cut off in your video. Thanks.
If you carefully peel the bark off, you can create this effect, but you run the risk of damaging or killling the tree. Best to talk with the traditionalist bonsai people who use this technique. I have some examples because animals or falls damaged the trees.
