I am a Christian, and I would like to say that this was the best response I've seen from the Atheist perspective. Although I need to digest everything I just heard (a lot), I do want to encourage a less hostile but more intellectual environment between atheists and theists. This was a well played defense. Dhorp, to say that existence exists is an incoherent statement because only beings or actual things can be said to exist. Is "existence" itself an actual being or thing? If not, then I see no reason to even take objectivism serious.

The definition of the concept of existence is "that which is." So everything that IS, exists. Saying existence exists is the same as saying everything that is is a sub-set of the set existence, existence being the sum total of everything that is, whatever is.
I agree with your position, but there are a lot of statements I don't understand. Your way of communication is way too wordy, and by that I mean you use words, terms, and concepts which are difficult to digest in such a small amount of space. If you want to reach a wider audience, and you want the average man to understand your position I would suggest that you turn your vocabulary down a few notches for your videos. Technical terms and large words are great but try to give them in smaller doses

I suspect that ShockOfGod's "opponents" have been misunderstanding what he means by "atheism" and have consequently making things harder on themselves than they need to. I believe that he's such an ardent and small-minded Christian that an atheist is someone who denies the existence of what he considers the One True God, the only seriously worth considering. Just point out the contradiction between the biblical God's supposed characteristics (omniscience and regret, for example).
It is absolutely true that shockofgod has set up phishing sites, including a way of harvesting YouTube channel names and passwords. There is plenty of video evidence of this, including substantial documentation of willful lying.
Most recently, he was caught forging a death threat to himself, then making a video claiming that the threat came from Matt Dillahunty.

The major problem with Shock's statement is atheism does not assert to be accurate and correct. He is asking people to give evidence for the accuracy and correctness of their rejection (Evidence for disbelief? LOL!), which is a logical fallacy since atheism merely rejects theistic claims, not making assertions of its own. He is the theist, therefore HE must provide evidence since theism is the position that makes assertions without evidence in the first place. He is definitely a serious liar.
Science is not evidence and proof that Atheism is accurate and correct, since Science is not a strictly Atheist endeavor. I would fathom some people would say Science not an Atheist endeavor at all, since using and working with Science does not prove or show God's Non-Existence.
I don't quite understand this whole 'existence' as a noun or a primary. Existence describes the instantiation of a thing. Existence is nonsense without the instance of a thing. In other words, existence cannot be a necessary thing in itself, there must be something that exists prior to giving meaning to the word in the first place.

This is really interesting stuff, but you hardly need to go this far to validate atheism. This goes far enough to shake deistic claims. To validate atheistic claims all you would have to do is bring into question the veracity of, so called, holy texts. The entire merit of the claims that theistic views are correct is that holy texts are inerrant, and entirely truthful, and this is easy enough to disprove.

That seems to be a common problem for a lot of Chrstians. The more they find out about the real world the further Christianity gets splintered. I actually ran into a Christian today that is honestly confused and can't decide if Jesus and God are two seperate people or one.
No god(s) is the default position. This is true since no human child can understand the concept of god until he/she is taught. The sciences are discoverable, god is not One must prove the existence of a god to refute this. Nobody can prove the existence of any god; therefore, atheism remains true.
There have been thousands of gods. Once you honestly assess why you don't believe in the others you will understand why I don't give special consideration to your god

Although I need to digest everything I just heard (a lot), I do want to encourage a less hostile but more intellectual environment between atheists and theists. This was a well played defense. You wouldn't even have to go to objectivism to answer this question. Since atheism is simply the lack of belief, there is nothing that could "prove" that I don't believe in any gods. Since the question is flawed to begin with, there is no way anyone COULD answer it, and therefore I it should just be ignored. And I actually think Shock knows very well that the question is impossible to answer, and that's why he tries to use it as some sort of indirect proof that his god exists

The definition of the concept of existence is "that which is." So everything that IS, exists. Saying existence exists is the same as saying everything that is is a sub-set of the set existence, existence being the sum total of everything that is, whatever is.

I agree with your position, but there are a lot of statements I don't understand. Your way of communication is way too wordy, and by that I mean you use words, terms, and concepts which are difficult to digest in such a small amount of space. If you want to reach a wider audience, and you want the average man to understand your position I would suggest that you turn your vocabulary down a few notches for your videos. Technical terms and large words are great but try to give them in smaller doses

I suspect that ShockOfGod's "opponents" have been misunderstanding what he means by "atheism" and have consequently making things harder on themselves than they need to. I believe that he's such an ardent and small-minded Christian that an atheist is someone who denies the existence of what he considers the One True God, the only seriously worth considering. Just point out the contradiction between the biblical God's supposed characteristics (omniscience and regret, for example).

The major problem with Shock's statement is atheism does not assert to be accurate and correct. He is asking people to give evidence for the accuracy and correctness of their rejection (Evidence for disbelief? LOL!), which is a logical fallacy since atheism merely rejects theistic claims, not making assertions of its own. He is the theist, therefore HE must provide evidence since theism is the position that makes assertions without evidence in the first place. He is definitely a serious liar.

I don't quite understand this whole 'existence' as a noun or a primary. Existence describes the instantiation of a thing. Existence is nonsense without the instance of a thing. In other words, existence cannot be a necessary thing in itself, there must be something that exists prior to giving meaning to the word in the first place.

My accusations of shockofgod phishing have massively made an impact since what I've shown is that I don't accuse shockofgod being a website account phisher but instead I have debunked all attempts that ought to make shock's name clear so I've endeavoured in the deep layers of website programming and youtube beta channels to negate claims made by Krazie316 and crew who continue to shout that shockofgod never did phish. What I find strange is that we continue to get blocked when we ask SoG himself

However, this won't work since his best and only tactic is to ignore people's questions concerning the topic and in order to fight off the complaints, he picks people from his crew to speak for him. I've debunked the URL forwarding bullshit and the blue line theory that Krazie316 continues to bitch about which was a temporary beta channel design flaw.

When krazie316 claimed that the video recorded by ToT Nessa544 that shot the phishing act live, was edited by software, he mentioned a blue line which I pointed out in my video series that there was a coloured line at the top of every one's channel with a white line break. I have spent hours searching for videos made by people in Septermber 2009 that showed the exact same design. I might do a video on this to clear things up. Thanks for the vid!

Yep he's guilty. But the difficult part is that we don't have a recording from a video cam, but only a camstudio software, which refers to the scheme of 2009. Paganron (currently hacked and lost account) posted a video which was mirrored by DcTool666. This video is called Shockofgod the Phishing Hijacker. This is the phishing scheme of 2008. SoG was phishing twice. I only witnessed the double url forwarding effect of 2009.

This is really interesting stuff, but you hardly need to go this far to validate atheism. This goes far enough to shake deistic claims. To validate atheistic claims all you would have to do is bring into question the veracity of, so called, holy texts. The entire merit of the claims that theistic views are correct is that holy texts are inerrant, and entirely truthful, and this is easy enough to disprove.

I am considered a strong Atheist. There is no god, I know for a fact that there is no super human or super powerful all knowing higher power who watches over us. It's impossible. Think of this. Magic isn't real, and there is even tv shows that prove it, it's all smoke, mirrors, angles, deception, and quick movement. There is no evidence that a "god" exists, ANYWHERE!

FIRST.. I am not a fan /supporter/ and/or like minded with ShockofGod! I do not agree with his appraoch to atheism vs. theism as a solution or necessity for the existance of God. But I do find it curious the multitude of videos that declare that God doesn't exist. My question is; if God doesn't exist, then why the need to disprove God, the necessity to do so implies there is a God, and these videos support the concept of satan and his agenda to disprove the spiritual realm and God.

Well, for myself (and i think for many others like me), we hold the idea that religion is a poison of the mind and religion stems from a belief in god which is lacking in evidence anyway. So what we do is try to show, through real examples, how a god is unlikely to exist and how it certainly cannot be the god of any man made religion. These videos support the concept that religion is a poison and all would be better off without it.

That seems to be a common problem for a lot of Chrstians. The more they find out about the real world the further Christianity gets splintered. I actually ran into a Christian today that is honestly confused and can't decide if Jesus and God are two seperate people or one.

No god(s) is the default position. This is true since no human child can understand the concept of god until he/she is taught. The sciences are discoverable, god is not One must prove the existence of a god to refute this. Nobody can prove the existence of any god; therefore, atheism remains true.
