Oh well, the refs paid you guys back this past year when the Cards played you in Morgantown. Where to begin: Joe Mazzulla last touched the rock when it went out of bounds. That led to WVU scoring. Then as time was running down and Louisville had the ball, Reggie Delk got fouled on a three point attempt, no call. Then a WVU player clearly touched it last as it went out of bounds straight at a little bitch of a referee who flinched and botched the call. You got the payoff plus a bonus this year.

yeah, edgar's been balling since then...he's always been arrogant when he's on the court...even at 8 or 9 - courtesy of his brother Erick who played for Monroe Mustangs CC...in the Bronx. he was nice too..but Edgar just went to the right HS..(Rice)...and did good in school. I'm actually surprised he allowed him self to lose that much stock since joining U of L. I had bets that he would leave after Jr. year to NBA. But he doesn't play defense and needs to be a student of the game...he's not

Exactly, after a promising freshman year, he kind of went down hill. But late last year he started pulling it back together and he started playing defense, if that can carry over to his seinor year and he actually sustains it all, he might just be ok for the NBA. We'll see.

The problem with us NYC players is we're not students of the game, we think we know it all..when in reality we don't...I just started learning the game like 5 years ago... is actually easier than people think..of course...you need the talent..and skill but once u have that..the game just becomes easy...a good example of that is Kobe..he came in raw as hell..look now...lol

I know what you mean, but I don't think it's just NYC players, it's this generation of players in general. lol. We all think we know it all and have nothing we need to learn or work on but in reality, we all have to learn. Hell, even LeBron James still has to learn the game. He's missing a few key points. But with the right kind of work and people on your side, it'll work out, so I think Sosa will be fine. Pitino knows what he's doing. Sosa to me, can be what Johnny Flynn was last year.

wow that's a big statement...Johnny Flynn has been pretty consistent through out his last year in Syracuse...Sosa is not even consistent...that's one thing that messed up a really good friend of mine who I played AAU with (Sammy Mejia). He killed at Depaul, but lacked consistency...he'll give you 30, 4 and 4 tonight and 4 ,0, 0, next game. Scouts look at that. They also compare you at your position against players at your position and he just didn't evolve as a player...Sosa either.

I know, that is a pretty big statement, but I feel like his game can be what Flynn's is if he is consistent, i'm hoping since it's his team this year he can evolve into that type of player. I remember Sammy Mejia too, I liked him, people use to compare him to Francisco Garcia but my boy Garcia was better. He too was inconsistent though, I think if he would have put forth the efffort night in and night out he'd be in the league right now. But hopefully Sosa can come into his own his last year.

Yeah but Sammy had a better college 4 years than Sosa...way more significant. Sosa has not impacted or raise any eye brows...The only people that know Edgar are east coast, college basketball followers...no one really knows him as a significant player. Yeah he plays under rick pitino...but what is he known for? nothing. Sammy was known for scoring...he can give u 30 -35 any given night...NBA mock draft he was compared to Eddie Jones. 6'6'' and lanky with a scoring ability. Sosa has nothing.

Sosa has been on a team where he's not needed to score an abundant amount of points. But he is a little known. Not as an all-american or anything but people have witnessed some of his actions on the court. Mostly he's known for being selfish, haha, but they know he can score. He almost made himself a star in the ncaa tourney when he was a freshman. Unfortunately he had a bad few years after that but he has the potential to be a scoring PG. This year is the deciding factor, its his chance.
