  • Seems legit...

  • =D New hack, Just imagine! The big bang... Thumbs up if you agree...

  • Wooooooooooooooow

    Wooooooooooooooow

    Very good!!!!

  • Who divided by zero?

  • Well, I think, this video is a fake.

I´ve tried it more than hundred times, but it doesn´t work. In forums the users said, that this viedo is a fake.

But if the buffer overflow really exist, I´ll be surprised;)

    greetz

HomebrewMaestro (sorry for bad english, I´m German xD)

  • have we just discovered another way to load the hackmii installer on 4.3 wiis

  • dude how did u move the game channel?

i kno if you hold a+b over other channels thn u can drag thm to other spots but im unable to do this with the game channel

  • :O Very impressive, sir. As always, I truly am in awe of your powers.

  • the logo double loads for a milisecond

  • Have you continued work on this at all? It would be great to have another way to install Homebrew now that 4.3 is out. This would give people more options to install it.

  • scary 3_#

  • There wasn't an overflow there, it was just a divide-by-zero operation sans gigantic galaxy-destroying nuclear explosion! : - P

  • I SEE PRELOADER!!!

    ...

  • Uhm..."Galaxii"?

  • mario has been sent to another dimension.

  • This looks like a fun exploit.

  • WTF ! so this is not a bug ._. ??

  • So what happens? Does the glitch force the game in an infinite loop where Mario can't recover?

  • Or Nintendo can patch all 3 at the same time. But that might be tricky because they have to patch them in such a way as to not brick a record number of Wiis.

  • Does anyone have the walk on walls code for NTSC?

  • walk on walls (c button)

  • thanks!

  • Hetoan, I'm not sure that this is possible. Not only would making that exact move trigger this be near impossible without the end user having a USB Gecko. Also, Galaxy does not load any data from the SD card...

  • neither does twilight princess.

  • Let me see the source code or the exploit save file itself.

Also, sorry about my ignorance :)

  • i won't give it out to anybody until I either decide to actually work on it again or release it :|

Ask romaap if he'll give it to you. He better not but if I don't know then i don't see the problem

  • Would you ever consider working on a different games exploit?

  • are u using the walk on walls code?

  • Wow, it's... beautiful.... xD

  • how the heck did he move the disk channel without hacking it first?

  • hes running a usb loader channel

  • He deleted the homebrew channel, then did this.

  • I think the video make with a editing because the black flash like a transition in a glitch ... but all is possible ! I believe the video ... the wii is so simple to hack it !

  • Its a exploit

  • You ruined Super Mario Galaxy !

  • Just B+A on it and move it around?

  • yes but you must install a homebrew to do that

  • You need GeckoOS for that, you have to be able to use the reboter though (system menu 3.3 or lower)

  • To all u people that keep saying "u can't do this without the modified save" the modded save is the installer. how do u get this save? wait for it too be perfected.

@ThokoBZPower: nintendo can't patch games they can only patch the system menu?

Q: what if nintendo makes an update to scan and remove modified saves from the sd?

A: put the sd in after the game loads the system menu(the thing nintendo can patch) is gone. then they can't do jack. ^_^

  • Ow, lol... I jumped in space with SMG many times just for the lulz :p If you ever need more testers, I'm available to serve you as tester.

  • Great job! I can't wait to see how much you can improve on this.

If you're looking for another tester, count me in ;)

  • Awesome. I'm loving the wide variety of exploits that have been popping up recently. Good job!

  • I think you're just a bit jealous. Besides I have plenty of testers. I'm sure one of them is willing to record a video.

  • well...the execution of this is pretty amusing.

  • you know how thick people are, mehh it's fucking fakez!!! honestly are you for real. Go grab a usb gecko and see what you can do! instead of bashing achievements like this.

  • +1

  • I love how people are trying to do this. You can't do this without the modified save, people.

  • -_- thats because the boot.elf he loaded was the HackMii installer.

Think before posting something stupid ;)

  • Why the heck would someone fake this if it's already been done 3 different ways? Honestly. Give the man some credit here

  • You shouldn't even release footage of this video unless it is necessary... I.E. Nintendo patches all the other exploits..

  • Well that fake?

  • Wow you are stupid, he obviously installed a hacked save file that allows him to run the custom code.

  • Um, no. He (most likely) used the Twilight Hack source code, and modified it to work with Mario Galaxy. OR he could have completely developed his own. If the latter, what would you know about it? Nothing. He made a modified save file to take advantage of this.

  • Er, that was supposed to be a reply to one of the stupid people that don't believe this is a hack.

  • idiot, twilight hack didn't "Show" the loading of boot.elf, rot in hell

  • ...OK, I sat there and played with this for a good couple of hours. How on *earth* are you tricking mario/luigi (in your other video) into standing on that wall? That's clearly what causes the glitch, but I can't figure out how you're doing it.

  • Daaang... that's *pretty*.

I like how, when Nintendo finally got around to fully blocking the Twilight hack, we show up with 3 more immediately to keep them busy. I'm especially excited about the Brawl hack, since the only way to actually block it would be to patch the game before loading. This is definitely the coolest looking though.

Just when they thought they had us. ^_^

  • or they culd delete the file on the SD-card before starting the game

  • or we could load up the game and insert when only the game disc is used the SD-card... Nintendo could also fix it by saying:

"All Super Mario Galaxy Game Discs can brick your Wii after some time.. Send them to us, we'll send you a new one"...

I wonder why they didn't do that to Twilight Hack.

  • Or they could patch the Brawl´s IOS

  • Most awesome looking exploit ever....if its usable :P.

  • yeah i would like to know why that is what bushing has asked... ?

have you bricked using this ?

  • you can't land on that wall, can you? :O

  • Can you please explain this? "The exploit is also very dangerous as turning off during the underlying NAND processes can cause bricks."

  • I'd guess he means that if the game is writing its savefile, and it crashes from this exploit, it might brick you?

  • lol hetoan....hmm seems kinda fake but since ur the homie ill belieave this!well good job!

  • Nice, it looks great.

Cant wait till the release :D
