  • It's not like you designed all these wonderful speakers and such lol

  • they forgot black music

  • I didnt know you could make commercials in powerpoint.. lol

  • @BluDic having to bully him by his spelling must prove you have been proven wrong

  • @BluDic even if they got them given it doesnt mean they have to use them do they your just bullshitting about B&W is it because your jealous or just to poor to afford them ? probably both

  • could they handle dirty dubstep

  • @MrBurnTec you know I was just thinking the same thing.

  • co to kurwa jest?

  • @BluDic DEAD-ON...my INFINITY RS-III (b),about 25 yrs. old,STILL sound great!!!

  • I had B&W and they were good for music but crap at HT, got rid of them and got some Reference Series Klipsch, paired with rotel amps i get both music and HT, the Klipsch are just too versatile and clinically clear and accurate sometimes i use a tube pre amp to get them a little warmer but only on certain music, for HT they are simply awesome

  • My B&W speakers could be better. They seem to sound harsh on peaks in movies. But they are nice for music. If I did it again, I would choose different speakers that worked better for movies.

  • hahaha epic pop music :D

  • spam video advert

  • Anyone try the "Transducer Lab" N26C tweeters?

  • B&W = money for nothing..............!

  • ..or POP! hahahh

  • yamahaaaa

  • LoL epic comment fights

    Just pointless

  • also to ad to that any one spending more on something other than a set of 801's or802's has been had i wouldn't go near a set of Wilson's ever

  • there's nothing better than a set of b&w's theirs no other company that spends any where near as much on research and development as b&w that is why every other manufacture copy's them in some way shape or form kef for instance i have Nautilus 805s and i didn't think it was possible to get more from a stand mounter till iheard the diamond 805s now i wont a set i work in the hifi industry but sadly i don't work in partner ship with a company carrying the 800 range shame the staff discount was ace

  • lol, funny thing is that after people spend thousands of $ on these "hifi" speakers, they listen to a dvd or mp3 playing music at 128 k/s....

  • @zidanetribal00042

A bit away from the topic:

Good record is a problem indeed. I have noticed that I rather prefer low(but not poor) quality system with a good recordings than vice versa.

Even CD`s cannot guarantee satisfaction sometimes ( I noticed that 48KHz sound cleaner, I do some recording from time to time). Best way is to be with friends with some sound producer to get uncompressed records, but that sounds more like a dream.

  • jbl!!!!!

  • Forgot denon... Definitely better then Yamaha lol

  • bose is bullshit ... trust me they cants stand gainst even 4x of b&w monitors... they just kill bose... i know so cuse i have heard both on identical room

  • @BluDic I removed my last comments to show the people of you tube what a troll looks like and what shite comes out of your mouth, "REVIEWS DO NOT LIE". Only in America can you get sold by cheap marketing adverts and posters, it doesn't work any where else in the world. Maybe you want to pick up a hifi magazine once in a whil. Yes 80% of the worlds studio's do use Bowers and Wilkins, what can't speak can't lie eh. i'm stopping commenting now, your to uneducated for me.JUST READ YOUR COMMENTS LOL

  • @kinkaid25 But Bose is the best!!! They say so themselves! :D

  • @BluDic You have not made me mad, all i do is sit and listen. If we go way back to the original comments about Bowers and Wilkins. Let's take your point of view, if Bowers and wilkins speakers are really as bad as you said, B&W would be out of business, 80% percent of the worlds studios wouldn't use them and they would have no awards. It all goes down to reviews and what the people think, they probabley do have to get the veneer right which in some cases may go wrong. you think what you want.:)

  • @kinkaid25 you are absolutly right ...that guy is a dumbass!!!

  • @kinkaid25 I have a pair of B and W 704s and nothing in the price range I got them (discontinued and replaced by CM series that doesnt sound as good) sounds Better. Many times people project their own listening values on this kind of stuff but Ive got my B Ws plugged into a bryston amp and its a great combination. sounds much more expensive than it should!!

  • lol he say JEMAHA

  • How 'bout marantz Or superscope .

  • What's the name of the song starting at 1.00 ?

  • I would tend to agree. Yamaha and Rotel are what I consider 'mid-fi.' B&W is hi-fi. Bose is low-fi. And of course I know everything, lol!

  • Bose isn't that bad.

  • @transdrole bose is just a name you give money just for the name LINN is the true quality if you have the money

  • @transdrole im sorry bose doesnt even classify as "fi"

out of interest where would you classify wharfedale, bearing in mind they make a wide range, where does it to eg low to mid, mid to high etc

  • AKA cerwin vega

  • maybe everyone shouled think of what they want from there hifi and see what tey want to pay for it. Don't threas B&w for making what for some people is the ultimate in hifi. If you are a professional user try PMC and you'll love it. In some cases the same gear at home is crap. Think before writing please

  • Steve Bennett sounds like a child molester. What a horrid voice over!

  • quads are flat?

  • I Agree with BluDic.

Not so far as to say they're flat (maybe that's a room location, set up, treatment or cable problem, who knows?)

But far too expensive for what you get. Wilson prices at a Paradigm level.

The gimmicky use of Kevlar, it's just so 80's. As are the cabinets and the over all sound. Fine for techno, Erasure or Annie Lenox or maybe they're just people with big hair that deflects the sound?... Maybe thats it! Thats why they sound bad to me... I'm bald!

  • Why do people keep defending B&W/Rotel products?

Yeah I know they make products in all price ranges, but they ALL suck!

Pit anything in their 800 line against even Paradigms, at the same price, they don't stand a chance! Not to mention Revel or Wilson.

Stop Using crap gear. Like twochaudio said YAMAHA is not Hi fi gear.

Try using some Conrad J gear or some Ayre components or Bloody Krell or Arcam even! Then you'll see the difference between B&W and real speakers (at various price ranges)

  • have you ever heard Quad 2905s?

  • mid fi

  • 0:35 lol at tv

  • My living room looks much the same, i put the would have been flat screen money into speakers and just use an old 35 inch tube tv. I have to agree when Speilberg says that watching a film is 80% audio. The space and money i saved from not buying a flat screen makes plenty of room for more speakers and amps!

  • ahh i see. Never thought of it like that.

  • ,,,,,,,poor steve,,tin ear,s thats a KEF dude,,,,,,,,,,,The guys has his own store and sells NO.. high end Amp,s ,or pre amps He talking about Yamaha and the likes...damm.........

  • I've heard heaps of great shit about Yamaha av systems and speakers, they last and sound great for the price. Not saying there arn't better brands out there.

  • ,,,,YA but who is telling the great shit ?? why it,s the people with the Tin Ears The TinEars People

  • Any clue who sings the song at 1m07s?

  • B&W, Rotel?

Hardly the best that money can buy.

But thats what all HiFi stores or brands say. Magnolia HiFi say they have the best money can buy. Bose say they make the best! Well. I guess if those are the only choices presented, then of corse you can make that agrument. But if there were, lets say, some Revel Salon2 or Wilson Audio Alexandria x2's there to compare with, then maybe it would be harder to convince people that B&W or Rotel are the best, or even close to the best, money can buy

  • Rotel is great for the price, but as you say it's not the best you can buy. =)

Personally I like the sound of the 50's pipe technology. Sounds crystal clear when reinvented. =)

B&W are great though. They have speakers in all sets of price ranges. =)

  • B&W does make some of the best speakers on the market with their 800 series, but you are right that Wilson and Revel make fine speakers as well. The difference is that B&W also makes mid-fi speakers.

  • @blackzak007 You do know near 80% of the worlds recording studio's use Bowers and Wilkins speakers. B&W have had over past 8 too 9 years the best performing and quality speakers ever. The speakers B&W make have out performed speakers on the hi end, middle and low end in price range and quality, that's what makes the company so good. So lets say you had £800 pounds, you would not find a set of speakers in the price which sound as good as B&W.
