@ScreamingDoom By the time he had moved away, the M&M campaign had been dead for several months. I attempted another campaign a couple years later but that one was also short-lived. Mostly due to the fact that one of the PCs was trying to become a drug-lord, another was a pacifist, the 3rd PC's subconcious, demonic alter-ego was the villain of the campaign (the player's idea, not mine) and the 4th player kept falling asleep during the sessions. Yeah, I haven't had great luck running M&M...
@Webhead123 Aww, that's a great pity. M&M (especially the newest edition) really works great when you have the right mix of players and characters. I'd try again if you ever have the opportunity.
@ScreamingDoom I do love the game dearly. I agree that 3rd Edition is the my favorite edition of the game. I'd love to get a chance to take it out for a spin again some day.
Problem players can derail a game very quickly. Players that get "tired of characters" as quickly as you mentioned are a BIG RED FLAG! GMs BEWARE! hehe.
So, after the problem player left completely, did you restart the M&M campaign? Or was the time too long?

I've found it's so easy to get superhero roleplaying games derailed and ruined. Such are the perils of having high-powered characters, I guess.
