You people all have such unbelievably short memories. As a young Scot, I can even see the change over the past 18/19 years. From massive unemployment well above 20%, to under 5%; skyrocketing inflation gone; record investment in health and education. Do people not remember Scotland under the tories and the massive leaps made sicne then? We need to build on that growth with a Labour government. Marvin, total tosh. Jobs created are part-time, low paid, short term, poor conditions. The UK has apparently high employment due to the high number of part-time jobs compared to others, eg 25% UK, 15% Germany . Unemployment is hidden by the large number of people on other benefits, such as incapacity or just don't appear on the statistics. Adding IB and unemployed together there are more out of work than in France & Germany. Real unemployment is close to the levels of the Thatcher years.

Absolute scaremongering.

Labour have had 10 years to 'build' Scotland. Instead, under Labour, Scotland is the 'sick man' of Europe, with shameful low-life expectancies, alcohol and drug abuse, deprivation (almost 1,000,000 Scots living on the breadline) - whilst 12 billion + pounds worth of oil revenue is poured into the Treasury.
