I'm so disappointed by this dude. I love this song, but his live vocals are terrible! Back in the day everyone was lipsyncin at these kinda shows. Search "Al b sure right now live" to hear what I mean. It's not that he sings off-key, but his range and tone is not like on the records. He's singing falsetto where he'd actually sing with head voice. Oh well... at least he had taste for good music.

No, you are not. BUT!! (There's always a 'but,' huh?) I've been an Al fan since April of `88 in spite of it. I loved the image, the tracks, the marketing, all of it. But his voice was TRULY lacking UNTIL: Man, I was pleasantly surprised at the first Billboard Awards in 1990, and as a tribute to Quincy Jones, they performed "The Secret Garden" live. AL WAS ACTUALLY SINGING! And doing it well! He obviously worked hard on his vocals, and he's just a better singer now than during that first album.
