Jens Lehmann was more experienced, classier and most off all a world class goalkeeper. Almunia is none of those things. Never been picked for Spain, and Capello turned him down for England, what a loser!!!
almunia- well the second leg he played shit but in the first leg at old trafford he kept us in it if u remember, but everyone is right when they say he isnt good enough for arsenal, lehman had a few mad moments but he made countless wonderful saves, he was an invincible if you remember so he must have made a few decent saves in those 49 games, almunia is the reason why arsenal dont like balls in the box, gallas and vermaelen dont trust him and rightly so, he punches when he could catch.

Yet again Wenger shows too much confidence in younger players and not enough with the experienced players. It seems he always develops a player but then when hes at his peak or just after he sells them, when we could do with the experience. United dont do that with there players, giggs, scholes, neville etc

he also made some great saves in the world cup for germany,particularly in the shoot out win against argentina.
