this quest isnt a secret all you have to do to find this is to go outside of megaton after you complete this one quest and you will pick up the S.O.S. from Amata and you can get that quest from the middle of the game to the end (middle meaning where your father dies)

this quest isn't secret you pick its radio signal up if you pass by vault 101 if you have dogmeat and some of the addons dogmeat will wait 4 u outside the vault so you'll pick the signal up then (after dad dies) and you don't fix the vault either you merely just kill the leader coz hes an evil bastard end of story
