  • Creepy!!!! :D thanks for sharing! Your awesome lol

  • I'm always intrigued by ghost stories, I have multiple books with nothing but old fables and I enjoy them more than a horror movie that might actually scare me. I'm an artsy person so I'm always looking for inspiration for a story or drawing. I shall go forth and watch every ghost story video you have, mynah yes.

  • i believe that hearing or watching a ghost story opens the mind to let one come close to the spirit world i know that what it does for me and to some of my friends

  • when i was litte i seen faceless ghot watching me i think they are comeing back idk

  • may i ask where you learned your stories? i do enjoy them.

  • Slenderman

  • This is the first of your videos I have seen, and I just love how you delivered that story. I have always loved Japan and this is the first Japanese ghost story I have heard! I'm kinda creeped out from watching this at 1:20 AM xD! What do you all thing happened after the lantern went out? lol :3 On to another story!

  • @JpnMusic137

Probably the guy just ran away, because the faceless ghosts are harmless. They just scare people.

  • i can watch these videos all day, there so awesome. =)

  • fuck!!!!! i was watching this, getting scared and my uncle came up the stairs, and fucking scared me!!! x_______x

  • I´m so glad I´m long since past that point where one thinks others will somehow admire you if you don´t get scared easily. There´s lots of comments here going "Lol whats a faceless ghost gonna do? How can it look at you if it has no eyes?" etc...

Either those people have a weak sense of imagination, or... I´m not gonna finish the post because 1; I´m tired and 2: the character limit would´nt allow it.

    I love your videos!

  • @steaktastebetterpill Thanks! Traditional ghost stories IMHO aren't really meant to be "boo! gotcha!" kind of scary like a horror movie. They create a spooky atmosphere in which the imagination can go to work. It's a shame that today many people need to be shown what is scary rather than let their imaginations do it for them

  • i dont know why but when i see your face you look like the singer of metalica :o

  • @p0rtalz James Hethfield?

  • are you in a sauna?

  • Oh damn, I need to tell this story to my friends.

  • Dave are you gonna start telling more ghost stories now that summer is almost here

  • @vampirixninja hey just uploaded a new ghost story - The Demon's Arm. Check it out!

  • Your facial mannerisms remind me of Paul Rudd. Hes cool. You tell awsome stories.

  • if i remember correctly they used this story in one episode in inuyasha the faceless one was used to confuse inuyasha that the faceless one was his mother just so that seshomaru could get that pearl out of inuyasha and the only one who could see that she had no face was kagome and seshomaru

  • Thanks for the post.

  • his first name is LafcaDio Greek from his native country.

a name he uses all his life.

  • When you see something like this, think, "What would reimu do?"

Probably just punch it in its missing face.

  • hahaha i love ur stories

  • I live in japan and i no that story, u told it better at telling it than my mom! lol great vid

  • Are All Of Your Stories true???? cuz the more real the story the better...

  • oo i heard this story before. so cool! ty

  • I have a question. Some people say that the name for the faceless one is mujina, others say its noppera- bo. Can you help? :)

  • @Horrorlord1 they are noppera-bo. Hearn and I in the video got it mistaken. Mujina is a badger and in some places the raccoon dog

  • @RoninDave Thanks!

  • @RoninDave What that the movie japan ghost you??

  • Its exiting to think that theres so many kinda ghost stories and so many of them we havent heard of. And some might be real. Thanks for these!

  • Ur stories are nice me and my bro like

  • man you tell really cool and good stories

  • I turned off my lights before watching.

  • The faceless ghost was also known to be seen in Hawaii, haunting the ladies bathroom of an old drive in theater. The theater is gone now and was replaced by a mall. People claim that she still haunts the bathrooms, or that she left when the place was transformed into a mall.

  • Faceless lady just wants some lovin too! :P

  • Wow, that one was genuinely creepy. Congrats.

  • haha this one is my favorite :) good job!

  • damm that is scary

  • Can you tell the story of Okiku, please?

  • @furysmack Okiku?

  • @TH3SK8ERB0Y just look up Banchō Sarayashiki

  • @TH3SK8ERB0Y I LOVE THAT STORY! the woman who was thrown into the well.

  • I love this ghost story more than the Demon-Haunted Bridge. Yet, I love both stories.

  • Good story but one problem; if the man didn't have a face how did he blow the candle out? :] Then again how were they able to speak?

  • i live in hawaii and theres a story abot the facekes woman too, it all started when a theatre was build on a grayvyard an old gavyard sometimes people reported that faceless woman was in the bathroom soon they sued the place and had it shutdown and tore down, now she roams the island of oahu infesting places like kohala mall. this is one of my favrite ghost storys but i hope i never encounter her.

  • omfg i useto live in hawaii i heard this story too

  • The only thing I don't get is why be scared of her? If she wanted to hurt him, she had quite an oppertunity and she didn't.

  • well would you be afraid of something you don't see everyday? I mean especially at night? A person with no face looking at you. I would.

  • @MadnessReturns lol how would they look at you if they have no eyes O.o

  • @MadnessReturns how would they look at you THEY HAVE NO FACE!!!!!!!!!! lol

  • @MadnessReturns

i just find featureless faces like that to be extremely creepy for some reason.

D: they're just.. weird. something to do with the uncanny valley, i'm sure.

  • I've heard a few of your stories and I'm FREEZING! It may be october, but I know this room hasn't gotten colder in the last 20 minutes. :) I'm writing this BEFORE listening to this story, and if I like it you will have a new subscriber!

  • Great job with the story-telling! It's good to hear the original Hearn version, as everyone here is so accustomed to the Waialae Drive-In version, and have no idea about this one. x)

  • I've greatly enjoyed all these stories, but this is definitely my favorite...so far.

  • another good one:)

  • nice job man

  • So...what's a faceless ghost going to do? headbut you? Not like it can eat you or something. roflol

  • pretty much all they do is just scare people with the shock value of their featureless faces. Annoying but harmless

  • hehe

  • Next tell the stories about the Peony Lantern, Okiku or Oiwa XD (the version where Otsuyu was in love with the young samurai of Peony Lantern kabuki ver i think would be best :D)

  • wow you are such a good ghost story teller!

  • Love the stories mate : )

  • thanks!

  • love that story - here in Shimane we get a good dose of Hearn - well done!

  • I imagine you would there. Shimane made a big impression upon him.

  • Oh no...! The poor badger....

  • stop badgering me!

  • You bad-ger ass I will... eh...

  • Do more, please! I always enjoyed those low-budget Kadokawa releases they did in the US, even if they were super-cheesy. But I love these!

  • Aaah~ i enjoy listening to you telling these!!

  • best story yet loved the ending!

  • Do you think you can do something of a series based off of these topics?

The set up and story telling is great.
