Actually, The trains wern't rolling as usual! Both the cP & BNSF were shut down for most of the day due to MoW work being done! When the swing bridge closed. They had the BNSF local heading their way. We decided not to wait around to capture that footage! Would have been neat to see, But we had more to do in town (LaCrosse Wi)

really like seeing boats of any size on that river, i have seen some cool stills of racing canoes out on the mighty Mississippi  being passed by a riverboat with the big wheel in the back & thought that was an awesome capture, just thinkin if ya ever come across something like that and ya have yer video camera handy....

They do indeed have an old paddle river boat. It's actually a casino, Every so often they have to take it out on the big river. That's so they arn't taxed as a permanent property or something like that! I'll check into that!
