  • you may joke about 20grand but give it five to ten years and it will get there.

  • I got the same model gun but mines black

  • That's a beautiful gun.

  • resident evil brought me here

  • If I was in old west times, this is what I would use

  • xD my father HAD 2 golden DEagle they cost 2490 € per pistol but he sold em' :(

  • Ah yes. The "Rolls Royce of Revolvers", as someone once described it. The first time I saw one way back in 1977, I knew I had to have one. The first blued one I had I sold to make room for the then new stainless steel "Ultimate". If you use Hoppe's to clean it, make sure you wipe the nickel exterior free of the cleaner before putting it away. Enjoy.

  • ... This is like porn lol

  • Very Nice!! my dad has one that looks like yours except his is in stainless steel. they have a crisp trigger pull and shoot really well!! i use to take it to the gunrange but i stopped... people kept making me offers to buy it and kept harassing me. so i cleaned it and put it away in the original box and purchased my own S&W .357 magnum. looks allmost the same as my dads Python except its not. they really are good hand cannons!! .357 magnums pack alot of punch!!!

  • beautiful

  • Purchased (2) 4 inch nickel and chrome Python's in South Carolina in 08 for $1000.00.

  • It's butiful

  • Wow! Wow! Wow! What a great piece. Is that the same gun Hutch use to carry on Starskey and Hutch?

  • What a Beauty

  • resedent evil lol gawd i love this gun

  • Very nice gun,i inherited one from my aunt.except mine has a 4 in. barrel and it is a blued steel finish.

  • The perfect "Frame" for that: would be the "Dash" of a black Continental.

  • Is it for sale and how much do you wot for it

  • @valeriegoldie09 Not for sale, but I will take 20 thousand for it. LOL. Thanks for watching.

  • love the python

  • Absolutely beautiful. I had a chance to fire a WWI vintage Colt M1917 in .45 ACP over the Holidays. I fired several other revolvers that day, and that was the smoothest and most enjoyable of them all. It's a shame that Colt doesn't make these anymore.

  • man that's beautiful!

  • why is the python no longer made?

  • @choopdewoot cause Colt doesn't seem to make good business decisions. Maybe thats turning around though...we'll see.

  • @theWHIPLASH this is one of the few swing out revolvers i would like. im more a fan of old west single action type. but colt wrote the book on revolvers so this comes natural that they would make one of the few exceptions

  • I've always loved revolvers but wen I saw this gun on "The Walking Dead" I fell in love

  • These are truly works of art in the world of revolvers. As much as an S&W fanatic I am, the Colt Python in ANY flavor has always been the top-dog in terms of style, art & factory-tuned action. Nobody back then or today has ever manufactured anything as good as the fabulous Colt Python.

This revolver was available in a variety of finishes, including blued, nickel, stainless steel and Bright Stainless Steel, which looks like nickel plating.

I'd give my left nut and then some for one of these.

  • $350 for that work of art? Your father has a shrewd eye for good deals. Even in '83, that was a good buy. Tell you what, I'll give you $360. You can always say you made a profit! Just kiddn'. Thanks for letting us see that beauty.

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • .357's and mr. Clean, both leave a shine on the floor. nice gun though, i love watching the value of these things keep skyrocketing. definitely not a drop gun.

  • wow she is beautiful congrats

  • now Colt is only seling these old looking revolvers. why not the anaconda and phyton, these are legendary revolvers which are better sold than all theyr daily shit ever will be!!!

  • This is the best example of US gun craftsmanship ! Nickle of Royal Blue they were the best. Presently they do not make them because the US consumer is too frugal. May collectors prefer 10 junk guns that 3 excellent guns.

  • Nice looker!

Pass down my blued 6" to my son when he turned 18. Still locked up for now till he gets his commission in AF. Bought it in '78 after confronting some one stealing out of my dads garage. It's THEE finest blue you'll EVER see on a gun!! Super balanced. I use a nickel 4"king cobra for security now. We call it the flame thrower!

  • It's a wonderful gun, and I know this for a fact.

  • for that pistol if ithas never been fired, it's worth 2200 dollars easy

  • That looks brand new! I wish I could get this but its illegal in my country.. :(

  • uggggggggg i want to get one soooooo bad!!!! where can i find one!!!!! ive look all across the internet and cant find one *at a good price at least*

  • I traded machine work on a XKE Jag motor for a Colt Python Ultimate back in the 1980s . Come close to selling it do to finances a couple of times but just couldnt part with it . Everytime Id get it out of the gun safe to sell it and work the action I put it back .....Thank God . I cant ever remember firing it . If I did it was less than 20 rounds .

  • Hey you know what's even harder to find....a colt 45. SAA revolver.one that was used is rare

  • sir, you took that out of the box and almost cried. a beautiful work of art

  • The BEST revolver ever made!!!!!

  • wow thats rare...

  • fapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfapfap

  • In my opinion, that is one of the finest handguns ever made. You should try to keep it in your family for many generations to come.

  • amazing gun

  • he knows for a fact

  • I've got one just like this.I bought it brand new in Orlando, Fla. in the early 70's. I paid 425.00. I still have the box and it has the original grips. This gun is a pleasure to shoot. Not shooting it is a sin.

  • this is the only gun that can kill Chuck Norris

  • my GOD it's beautiful!!!

  • thats the most sexy gun ive EVER seen

  • anyone know the last time a revolver jammed?

  • i know its not a airsoft gun but it looks like one because of the box it came with

  • Are they hard to find?

  • @MegaSpongebob94 They can be. Finding one at a good price that is. If money is no object, you can go to Cabelas Gun Library and get one. But they are expensive. Thanks for watching.

  • @Albee4ty5 so what do you mean by expensive?

  • if my dad woulve kept his that he had in the 70s (that he bought for 300) he couldve sold it back now for 2 or 2.5 grand

  • absolutely beautiful gun man! Have you put any rounds through it? I used to have one, but then my stepdad stole it when i moved to AZ and he pawned it off for only $250 for drugs. i'm not afraid to admit, that is the one and only time i ever cried.

  • @100Scuz I have not fired this Python in over 25 years. That absolutely sucks what happened with yours. I would cry too. thanks for watching.

  • @100Scuz

OMGWTFBBQ your stepdad is an idiot........just THE CARDBOARD BOX the Python came in goes for $150....2 grand & up is what the gun is worth.

  • Beautiful Gun. Thanks for the Video. Would u Ever be Interested in Selling. I Know that you've Hinted On in the Video and Even here in the Comments that u Probably won't. But if theres One Thing that I've Learned in Life is that Everybody and Everything has a Price. So if u Change ur Mind on that some Time Soon, Please Let me Know. lol Or if u Know where or how I can Find One in Good Shape for a Fairly Reasonable Price, Let me Know as well. I'd Sure Love to get me One of them Bad Boyz. :)

  • It's a beauty! I've got a 6" Blued that I bought new in 83. I have a buddy that keeps wanting to buy it from me. Every now and then I think about it, but then I bring it out and look at it. I'll never be able to replace it with anything cooler. I did make a huge blunder when I threw out the box it came in... oh well, live and learn.

  • @MrGolfbum Yep, don't let her go. and YES we all have made mistakes. thanks for watching.

  • Gorgeous.

  • Ive got a 6" colt python "ultimate" model that I got back in the mid 1980s. It comes with pachmyer grips as standard with a bright polished stainless steel finish . Wouldnt trade it for anything . I hear Pythons are next to impossible to get anymore unless you go through the Colt custom shop and pay through the nose for it . I got most all of my guns back in the 1980s because I saw what was coming . Got my ammo back then too . I was a Boy Scout hence be prepared .

  • 350? what the hell? damn thats a good deal

  • GORDON FREEMAN )

  • any1 got any kleenex's

  • who the fuck could not like a revolver that beautiful? i could get a boner by looking at it.yes its that sexy;)

  • @pacmandude345

    Haha yeah XD

  • It's so shiny!

  • haha, look at the description. thats really sexual.

  • "He bought this for 358 dollars" D: FFUUUUUUUCK

  • Wow!!!!!!!!!

  • BOY! what a beauty!!!! an awesome gun!

  • You really should take a few shots with it, buddy. You know how slick that hammer and trigger is. Wait until you feel the baby go off. It's like no other. Sacred.

  • Not loving the nickel finish. I prefer stainless.

  • I got a trooper MK 3 and its sooo nice to shoot.

  • Beauty personified! That is one kick ass looking Python!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!

Thanks for sharing!

  • Dude that is the sweetest gun ever:-P

  • That gun is gorgeous. I would love to have those original grips.

  • Thanks much. Thanks for watching.

  • Definitely one of the most beautiful revolvers I've seen. The condition looks excellent, and you can just see the smoothness of the action. I'm glad you're taking care of it. It's one of those pieces that you know is gonna be a real treat to have and to cherish.

  • Sir, you need to buy a box of ammo today and use that baby! Beautiful pistol. I have many double and single action pistols and they are fantastic to shoot. Have a wonderful weekend.

  • Great looking revolver! The Python is definetly the "Cadilac" of revolvers. Thanks for sharing

  • Hi i had one about 1990 with nickle the best gun i ever had then we had this hunger ford killing in England and the cop came down on us gun boys we had to hand them in i paid £450 for mine it was second hand i think they are fetching that deactivated unfortunately you can not own a centre pin gun any more in Britain all because some twat went killing you have a great gun mate

  • @TheFender26 Thank you and Thanks for watching.

  • @TheFender26

I'm sorry your oppressive gov't takes away all the rights you truly deserve. Your welcome to come over to America and share these rights with us.

  • No I don't. This is a keeper. Thanks for watching. @flipz711

  • @Albee4ty5 sweet looking python. I just picked up a colt bright stainless gold cup with sterling silver grips. Colt makes some of the nicest looking guns. Don't let that Python go it's a keeper !

  • Ah, man, you're making me drool! Even before I saw the gun, that box took me back to the various ones I had in boxes like that. What a gorgeous firearm. Geez, can I justify one of those again! :-)

  • @hickok45 LOL. I thought you might appreciate a thing of beauty like that. Glad you watched it. Thanks.

  • under a 100 rounds fired... who cares its been shot. might as well blast it off everyday now...

  • @bkurtz85 apparently you do. Or you would have kept your pie hole shut. Don't worry yourself about what I do

  • NICE COLT

  • at 5:22 is that a dent/scratch on the nickel part that looks like a w?

  • very nice i know youll hand it down

  • Beauitful pony

  • worth about 2 grand with the box

  • I didn't see a firing pin on the hammer. Does that gun have an internal firing pin like modern smith and wessons. If so I didn't know old revolvers had that feature back in the day.

  • @traingp7 This was probably made in the 70's. Its not super old. I have a Ruger Single Six 22LR made in the early 60's and it doesn't have the pin on the hammer either. Thanks for looking.

  • I see you have the "Big Brother" to my Colt Diamondback. My Father was a Policeman in Youngstown, Ohio and carried the Diamondback for a few years. After retirement he gave it to me. Both he and I enjoyed shooting alot. Now my son and I shoot the Diamondback. Brings back a lot of memories...

  • wow thats a show stopper right there. thanks for showing it off

  • beautiful gun.

  • @oldwithgold Roger that. Your collection has me drooling most days. Take care.

  • glad to see you making vids again. great to seeing you doing well. hope your feeling great. that is one awesome gun. completely beautiful.

  • @hawkhead418 Appreciate it. Thanks for watching.

  • What you have there is an heirloom my friend. I know that you wouldn't but don't sell that gun. Something that gorgeous and in that good of condition needs too stay in your family for generations.

  • @lynnzie2008 You got that right. I don't think I could bring myself to take it out and shoot it. I am treating it like a show piece. Thanks for watching.

  • THATS ONE PRETTY GUN

  • @Tater78HD Yes she is. Thanks for watching

  • Very sweet. I like a little longer barrel but that is one pretty fire arm.

  • @mobiltec Appreciate ya watchin.
