Yep, I use it for both my electric and acoustic guitar. Awesome for standard tuning;however, Guitar Tool Kit is much more advanced and offers different tuning selections like drop D.

i think this can do much better if it had the function of various tuning or, if possible - even create your own tunings by changing the tune of each string.
