  • Hi fairy333,I think you have cooked your berfi a bit longer then required & it has dried up.U can save it by adding few tb.spoons of milk & warm & then set/cut.

  • Hi, i was just wondering if i wanted to do milk barfi, would i just use powdered milk instead of kaju? Thanks.

  • Do you use raw or roasted cashew nuts?

  • They are raw ones.

  • Yummy Yummy..am going to try it very soon. Just one question..wiz two cups of sugar..is the barfi very sweet? Can i put only 1 or 1/2 cup of sugar?

  • With this sugar ratio it'll be medium sweet not too much,if there is no health prob.then try atleast with 1.3/4 cups,

  • This is a dessert. They are firm yet soft in texture. And they're really good, they're one of my favorite foods EVAR!! They're pretty easy to find and buy at Indian stores. I'm gonna have to try this recipe out!

  • Awesome recipe! Thanks!

  • Looks good. But i'd probably leave out the silver leaves. I've read some strange things about it. Thanks for the vid. Seems pretty straight forward

  • I tried making this, but the burfi turned out very hard, i dont know where i went wrong and what to do with that now :(.

  • i think you might have overcooked it, the sugar might have crystallised and therefore hardened up.. good luck with it next time!! :)
