  • Thanks a lot for that. I'm heading towards 60 now and never did see much beyond Series 2 - always wondered what happened. Pity when you realise that most of the cast are dead now RIP.

    Regards

    Mick

Brings back loads of memories even though I was a child at the time. Always makes me think of my mum and vividly remember being in the car with her pointing out the Jolly Sailor to me. Thank you so much again :)

  • Thank you so much for Howards' Way, I think I’ll never did see how it ended.

And it was great to see the final series for the first time ever.

Because I think here in The Netherlands the whole series was never on t.v. Just a part of it.

Enjoyed every minute of it. the British soaps(and detectives) are for many Years my favourite

    Thanks for everything!!

  • What a great journey, never did know how it ended. However it does leave a lot of unanswered questions. Enjoyed every minute and such a dedication for you Steve to keep going. A brilliant BBC series maybe they should do a follow up and see where the script writers take the cast. Thanks a million!!!!

    CJ

  • @leisurecruise just give me a date and time Steve - as long as its a weekend. Again many thanks for all your efforts.

    So long fellow HW fans.

  • Thank you so much for all the uploads. Loved it in the 80s but never saw the final two series because of working abroad.

  • Many thanks Steve for taking the time and effort to post this wonderful series.

Been avidly viewing and cant believe that we've reached the end :-(

I remember my mum and late grandmother watching the series, back when I was a kid, so thanks for making it possible for me to appreciate it too twenty years later.

    Much obliged.

    Regards

    Paul

  • Wow, it's really over! :( I can't believe there's actually a real Jolly Sailor! So cool! I'd love to go there sometime when I'm in England.

Cheers for all the uploads-I've loved it!!

  • its been a great trip steve cheers for my blast from the past mate

  • Oh dear, I confess I had a lump in my throat. Thanks so much for keeping me entertained all these months Leisurecruise. It was a pleasure to revisit Howards' Way and great to see the final series for the first time ever. May see you all for a drink down the Jolly Sailor sometime then. All the best, Cathy

  • I can't believe it's all over!!! I never did see how it ended the first time around - a few surprises, including that ghastly Abby and her twit of an American husband running off with Thomas! I'll miss my daily fix of HW - maybe I'll just start at the beginning again! Thanks for everything, Steve.

  • Steve, thanks a million for this upload!

I didn't realise there is a real Jolly Sailor out there somewhere! Checking teh BBC HW site, it's in Bursledon - since I live in Belgium, getting there won't be quite as simple as for people living in the UK. Still, one never knows.

One thing though, why did the writers let Abby get away with taking Thomas??? For the rest, the ending is rather satisfactory to me.

    Take care,

    Regards,

    LIeve

  • Steve - a very big thank you all the way from Tokyo Japan.
