@eternalnameless That is a really fast BMW but I have a real M3 that I rock and a bike as well. Mine is all stock but its more than fast enough for me for a car. I baby it because I fill my need for speed and adrenaline by racing my bike on a road course. Bikes are way cheaper to maintain, repair, or replace than cars!

It wasn't as fast as my 325iS, but for time trials and the BMW events on the track it holds its own. i love that car, and although adding a super/turbo would give me the M3 speeds, I respect what it is and its purist nature. lol talk about giving the car the advantage on the first race... 140kmh= 87.5mph giving the car a slight advantage... most roll on races take place from 40-65mph 2nd race bye bye bmw.. only car i have had come close to keeping up with me on my GSXR 750 was a Lamborghini Gallardo. 160mph he backed off.. i was about 2 car lengths ahead.. higher speeds cars have greater aerodynamics and thats when horsepower maters

@golf1diesel not quite, i started with a 1994 Yamaha TZR 125R, then jumped to a 98 ZXR 400, tried the GSXR 600 k6 but wasnt really overly impressed with the performance increase over my ZXR. i was worried about the 750 but it was so much more usable than the 600 and not as revvy. And is just as quick as a 1000 on short straights, i have rode a ZX10R, but i dont think i will be jumping to a 1000 just as yet!

@panosch7 600HP isn't what's causing spin out. If you had a 5000 HP car that had 5 torque, you wouldn't spin out. It's all in the torque. And I'm also going to say that either Greece's roads are absolutely terrible, or the driver doesn't know how to launch. You say he got wheel spin.  That's fair. But it's because he was going full throttle. It's like he doesn't know the gas is pressure sensitive. It's not On/Off only. He needs a lot more practice.

another silly car vs bike video. LIsten folks.. this a very simple formula. Power/weight ratio. Almost all spotbikes have a higher POwer to weight ratio than almost any production car on the road. A simple example. That r1 produces around 160 horsepower. But only weights about 400 pounds. In order for ANY car to out accelerate a sportbike, based on the cars WEIGHT.. it would have to put out about 1000 horse power. from 0-160, the car driver is seeing nothing but a tiny tailight in the distance.
