  • Excellent video. Got me thinking deeply about this subject and it was nice to hear various perspectives on this subject. Some took the idea of karma yoga to very deep levels of understanding beyond the theoretical text book definition in practical spaces.

  • I wish to work selflessly by working for low income as a care worker and volenteer in free time.

I love skiing and surfing and may have to sacrifice this due to a process I am going through the desire to ski or surf causes inner conflict. However I always wanted to make beautiful ski and surf films to inspire people about the joyful unison one can have with nature as an active meditation. The videos will bring joy and awareness of beauty to others however I would enjoy making the films?

  • @bhasinuscuscable : EXACTLY! I don't understand what the hell these people are saying. It is simply to act without attachment to the fruit of action. I don't think the people in the video have much of a clue.

  • So Karma Yoga is all about talking? Because I don't see any asanas in this video

  • see that sea behind background it follows karmayoga sea countinue flows he do his work without think anything that is what karmayoga

  • Karma Yoga is the yoga of action - the key is to understand who/what is acting. Awareness is simultaneously the Agent and the Actor. ~ James

  • I have searched for truth for such a long time and i was restless inside my body and my mind. Then i found vedanta and yoga and this is the truth, iv just started reading the veda's and i will start doing yoga for my body and spirit.

Every person should do meditation yoga and read and act upon the vedic texts, there would be peace.

  • Lord Krsna has very well explained Karma Yoga,he is the only authority,

so there is no need for your personal ideas

God himself has spoken this in Bhagavad Gita as it is

    Hare Krsna!

  • What i understood about a karma yogi is that he will just do his job to the best of his ability without worrying about the end result since it is not in his hands.Ever since i understood this concept my outlook has completely changed.Ofcourse there is also the mention of selfless service and self realization.

  • Hinduism is a way of life...we should not talk about our religion being superior to any other. Just trust in our religion and offer all your karmas to GOD without the desire of expecting rewards. This is a sure shot way to get rid of fear and evils and have a feeling of satisfaction

  • VERY RIGHT. WE NEED NOT INDULGE IN FUTILE EXERCISE OF ESTABLISHING SUPERIORITY OF HINDUISM. IT IS DESIRABLE TO PRACTICE KARMYOGA BY SELF AND PAVE WAY TO REALIZE THE SELF. KARMAYOGA IS THE BEST SUITED PATH TO GET RID OF OUR INHERENT INNATE EVIL TENDENCIES FOR COMMONERS LIKE US.

  • nice

  • That music is really cool. Anyone Know who it is?

  • life is a form of modified energy, energy from the sun. all living beings are one energy that way, every life form is related to one another.every thing living on this planet belongs to one family.... family of life, in defferent forms...everything is you and everything is me......it is that simple....

  • KARMA YOGA-----do your work daily work and anything you do in anytime without any kind of selfishness...and without thinking of gain from that work..LORD KRISHNA SAID...keep working without having a selfishness of gain...

youa--TO GET together...and make that karma in a comunity...so karma yoga would be

do work in comunity and without having selfishness.....JAI KRISHNA

  • hindu s scripts such as vedas n upanishads are so sacred, no religion can come even 1 % closer to it....

  • thats really true..because the thing ahich discovered and taught to this world by hindus are very far away from gernal knowledge..and the dippest part is that its too simple to get into it but its too hard to give advice on such aspects and discover such things...

  • Only one person got close to the real answer! Please read Swami Vivekanda's book Karma Yoga to get a better picture. Every fruit-based-action generates a vibration, a force, a vasana, or subliminal inclination that continues to vibrate in the mind long after and compounds with similar actions. The goal of Karma Yoga is to resolve these vasanas, or desirous vibrations thru selfless actions and free the soul in that manner.

  • Karma Yoga is the action to fulfill one's prescribed or accepted responsibility in life, while remaining detached from a desire for the a particular result or the fruits of that action. Basically, do what you must, do it with the aim to be successful on your path, but do not do it for a desired outcome. So the path or journey is ultimately the goal itself.

  • David Life's explanation is the most closest one. (and simple)

  • This is such a fabulous idea. I'm so glad someone has taken the time to interview some of the best yoga teachers on Karma Yoga. Everyone should sign up for this event! How great!
