how did you get it down to 2fps? my school uses the same camera but it only goes down to 12fps... does this also mean you can bring it over the 50f limit?
The frame rate can be changed without a hack if I am not mistaken. I know you can edit in a scene file on the computer, but is there a way to do it in the menu? I am a DVX user.
how did you do the motion time lapse of 0:11 & 1:04 by hand??? they look automated and pretty smooth definitely there is at least a tripod there!!! how did you get them to look as such? you would hold it on one place for 2minutes? then pan it 1mm (or 1cm) the next 2min until it shows in result as a smooth pan motion time-lapse??? its the best part of the video I am trying to learn how to do those types of shots. :S
Thanks for the compliments - Our team strives hard to make something respectable. The Time Lapse Pans were done on tripod and NOT automated, They were panned by hand. Just takes a steady hand and a perfect eye! Cant wait to see yours! Best of Luck
I tried going through all the resolution options. It was still blue. And don't laugh but do I need to sit there and press the record button once its all set up for an hour or more every second? Im so confused.
I'm a super newbie and can't figure out how to set up and DO time lapse with this HVX. The manual is like chinese to me. :( I tried just going in to record set up and changing it to interval but everything is in blue.
Well like anything as long as it is light correctly it looks great blown up. Also if you use 35mm adapter, which is not necessary but some people like it, you get more DOF, but DOF is way over used in the amateur indi market. All in Story though.
thanks everyone - the hack will not hurt the camera, and the music I think is a DJ product. Maybe epic or cinematic - But yea, my fav shot is the hand pan. no motion device used! :)
why 360 quality? why u dont use 1080p

how do you manage to not get a shaky pan with your hands? it was smooth as if it was automated. How did you get it to be so smooth and perfect?

what was the in-camera settings before using the hack?
3rdwaveproductions 4 years ago
did you just leave this on basic 24fps then use the hack? what was the pre-setup in the cam prior to using the hack?
