youtube has a better collection of kickass of late 60's - early 70's rock albums then probably any other damn place or store, thank you to you uploaders of the best rock I've ever heard made years before I was born. 'Nother one to add to the list... not enough time to get passed the mid 70's haha. too much good stuff.

Actually it's the keyboard player of Uriah Heep, Ken Hensley. But he's a great guitarist and singer as well. He's the one singing here.

This band is awesome. Lead guitarist from Uriah Heep with a german band, if I'm not mistaken (band's name is Virus). Really awesome stuff.

Good god this IS good. I'm on a mission to find as much early 70's hard rock as I can and thought I'd hit a brick wall till I found this and Orang-utan. Anyone interested in this kind of heavy music should check out what Denmark had to offer in 1970/71 - Check out Culpeper's Orchard and Pan, two bands that really should have made it big!

In the last few years I have been trying to find more hard rock from the 1960's and 1970's that is considered off the beaten path. I scour record stores in every big city looking for obscure heavy rock n roll. 99% of the time, the obscure albums I take a chance on do not deliver. This fucking song is so heavy and so sick. It is hands down the best song that no one has ever heard. I wish all the obscure shit kicked me in the face this hard. It's unreal.

Alright I got an album for you. It's more like acid folk rock from the 60's. Nobody has ever heard of this guy. A pleasant surprise but one you probably wont expect. Go to the search, type in: Mij - Look into the night, also try planet of a flower.

I've been searching for obscure treasures like this too... not in record stores like you (well sometimes on those too) but mostly on the internet... and this song was a punch to my face just like you described... it really got me.
