  • Three Cheers for seeing a need and "Sending in the Troops"

  • This is great information--thank you. Seth, is there a way I can get a copy to show the RS in our Stake?

  • Thank you for this inspiring story. Love the song, very appropriate.

  • Inspiring and humbling to see this...

  • Phew! (wiping my eyes) It makes me wish that I could hop on a plane and hold some lonely children. Thanks to all who sacrifice and share for others! And thank you for sharing this video.

  • It make me cry so many orphans now in Haiti who are suffering . No child need to go through so much traumas and pain . We need to take actions and give them love and comppasion .Love them as love our own children .

  • Seth do you know of any legitimate organizations we can donate to the orphaned children of Haiti?

  • Personally, I would donate through the LDS Church because I trust them and you can see the results and know that your money is treated as something sacred.

  • True, ldS church safe, I am sure there are too other organizations that are trustworthy, no doubt! I just know 100 percent the church sends everything themselves.

  • Your videos ALWAYS make me bawl my eyes out! What a beautiful story!

  • People in the United States are willing to adopt children from Haiti but are being discouraged from doing so by government policy. Childen in Haiti need to be airlifted to safety RIGHT NOW before they die. They will die. Be a part of getting them out. Do something. Let us know how we can offer sanctuary to these children.

  • Amazing only if all human being were like him, this world would be a differente one. I love this video and it also made me cry. God bless this family.

  • Thank you, Thank you. I feel moved to act through the tears. Jonathan

  • Great job

  • Awesome!

  • This video brought swells of emotions to my heart, and tears to my eyes. Thank you to the armed forces and to the church for their humanitarian efforts!

  • There is no greater joy, than to help your fellow man.

"Peace and love", to all the loving caring humanitarians of the world.

  • This man and his fellow soldiers are great men. These are the people that should be written about in our history books.

  • wonderful

  • I helped with this project and I never saw the result, so this just made me cry grateful tears. Thank you again Laurette and Marc for this opportunity.

  • I feel with that little baby sitting alone at the table. It reminds me on my childhood in an orphans house.

  • wow. Now I'm ready to leave everything and be with the orphans.

  • I pray for the children of the world that they will be cared for. I am grateful to be able to see that at least a handful is recieving help from our church !!

  • I love the Church!!! I love how one person who speaks up can cause people in another country end up with 600 blankets and endless boxes of supplies!!!

  • Such a beautiful and positive video! We are all praying for the people of Haiti. God bless you, and may we help get the needed supplies to those affected by this earthquake.

  • Yikes! I wrote 500,000 feared dead and it's closer to 100,000. Big typo. sorry.

  • Thanks so much for posting this. It may be hard for your Dad to have this made public. But it helps the rest of us to renew our faith in others and rediscover our own abilities to serve.

    Thanks, again.

    ^_^

  • Thanks Seth for posting this! To all the saints who view Seth's post: donate this Sunday to the Church's humanitarian fund for Haiti. With 500,000 feared dead there the living will need our help.

  • I pray these orphans are not injured. I'm sure they will still need assistance after the horrific earthquake.

  • If this is not an example of D+C 58v27 I don't know what is. I think they would be safe that high up. Hope so even the little baby was so happy!.D+C 58v27 Verily I say, men should be anxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness;

  • May the Lord bless this man and all those chirldren and those now suffering in that country. Great video of inspiration and love for our fellow brothers and sisters.

  • Wow, it is so amazing how much one person can make a difference. Brother Platt, he is so amazing. I hope we can all learn from this video that we can all help others, wether they are thousands of miles away or sitting right next to us. We can all make a difference and we can all help to make a change. :) So, let's do it! I have the honor of personally knowing Marc Platt, and some of themembers of this wonderful church who have helped these kids.

  • God Bless them all

  • Wonderful story! I I hope they are doing ok after yesterday's earthquake.
