I should have repeated the 2nd stanza of the song. But the strings of the note Bb and B of the piano suddenly snapped while singing. I was abruptly terrified for a few seconds. I thought somebody had shot me from behind cuz the Bang was so loud--much much louder than a gunshot. I thought my life would just end there--in middle of a song. LOL

Tender Is The Night, great title, is a very romantic film shot in Paris, The Rivera,

and Switzerland with Interiors at 20th in LA.

Jennifer Jones is superb in this film directed by Henry King and co stars another Oscar winners Joan Fontaine and Paul Lukas.

Jason Robards is a very fine Dick Diver in the film version of the Fitzgerald novel

lovely!I saw this as a young girl and it has taken me 40 yrs to find it! The song has haunted me ever since. Strange how I thought it was franksinatra who sung and acted in it. :)
