You need to understand why the state has interest in marriage to justify it's definition. The state wants to encourage stability in the home of the couple bc they are likely to procreate and raise a child, and the child is less likely to be a burden to or hurt society if raised in a stable home with 2 ppl to share the effort. Today there is a significant number of gay parents raising children and it is in the states interest to encourage a stable home with 2 ppl sharing the work.

You need to understand why the state has interest in marriage to justify it's definition. The state wants to encourage stability in the home of the couple bc they are likely to procreate and raise a child, and the child is less likely to be a burden to or hurt society if raised in a stable home with 2 ppl to share the effort. Today there is a significant number of gay parents raising children and it is in the states interest to encourage a stable home with 2 ppl sharing the work.

Have you ever had a co-worker who is gay threaten you with rape? Ganging up with other gay co-workers to attack you even? I have. In 3 different jobs, and I am straight. I took a baseball bat to one of these guys and broke 3 of his ribs as he tried. I am not making this up. I happened to work in the high end Restraunt business and it attracted a lot of gays, and they perceived me as a threat. I answered that threat. I answer it still. I am not a homophobe now thanks to them, I am homopsycho!
