This silly movie is so sweet-both mom and dad are equally funny. And are equally challenged. They both succeed and fail at things. LIKE WE ALL DO!! Such a charming movie-
In today's world, his goof-up with losing his child temporarily, a totally normal thing that happens, would--in the minds of way too many people--warrant a social services investigation & people calling him a negligent parent.
Such a terrific movie- It ranks up there with the I love lucy when Lucy and Ethel switch with Fred and Ricky. I love the fact that these two are tested for their love for each other. It is so much more difficult to remain loyal than to give in.
That was funny try a WTF moment here: I mean I'm not this horrible at the grocery store even If I had kids which I truly don't they wouldn't leave me sight now I always get like milk, coffee, cereal, cream, Ice cream, or whatever I decide to make at home cheeseburgers, mac and cheese and boston creme pie since Its the 4th of july In short please don't be like jack butler at the grocery store.

Remember watching this in the theater visiting friends in Sacramento as a kid in 83. For whatever reason I love the "here eat this spaghetti" line as he hands the kid a box of uncooked pasta. Just cracks me up. Keaton is a very underrated comedic actor. It worked to his advantage when he got the Batman role and did great and gained respect but now I think people forget how good he was in the world of comedy.
@FuckYouAndYourCousin Ah! I'd like to solicit your advice! Sometimes this happens to me, if I'm unaware there was a selection. I came up with a quick answer, something along the lines of "Give me the most frequently requested (whatever it is I'm ordering)." May I ask you: Is that a useful solution?
@jackmehoffer68 Joan. Sounds like the name of a rightful condescending bitch, doesn't it? Let's pair her up with her male counterpart, "Larry." You know you're in for a fantastic evening when "Larry & Joan" are coming over....lol
I really have to see Mr Mom! I love Michael but the title sounded like a dumb romance comedy and I do not like kids films. Its classic Keaton. I work retail and currently and a grocery. When I was on cash people always left their kids and ran back. If under five I told them To take their kids please. I dont like kids. Also do not want some freak grabbing them as I cant watch them. I remember I would find kids and the parents left them in the toy area. Takes seconds to abduct. People dont care.

I love this scene. Especially being a worker in a deli, we get people that do that shit all the time. Be more specific, you bastards.
