no offense to anyone who puts one year being natural but i am sure kitty friskie that you believe when people say 1 year of being natural that that is what it means but a lot of people have been growing their hair for 3 months or more and do not include that in their 1 year natural so technically they are 1 year and however many months natural ( i found this out when comparing my 3 month old natural growth to others who were a lot longer,,, that was why ha) p.s. louel has nice hair

Same thing happened to me, I cut my hair yesterday about an inch in parts thinking it was relaxed hair, but looking at it, it wasn't. I've done that a few times. That's the last time I'll do that, my ends are just straighter in the middle.

Great video! Yea I recently cut my relaxed ends to get the curls to show but I keep cutting some less than curly areas because I thought they were heat damaged/relaxed areas, do you suggest I stop doing that? BTW Loooovvve ur hair and will be subscribing :)

I did the big cut after about 2 months, I just couldnt wait and felt like it was a waste of time and product to invest in my relaxed hair if I was goig to cut it off at some point anyway. I didnt show my natural hair untill after 6 months...

I think I will be at bra strap lenght at the end of this year. When it shrinks... you wont see it though haha.

Love your hair texture! I am over a year and a half natural now, but i had some bad experiences with scissors (lol). My hair is longer than it looks (super shrinkage). Your hair and skin are gorgeous, know you hear it all the time :)

I couldnt wait to do the bg so I did it after about 2 months. I have no fear for scissors and dont mind short hair, although I would love for it to be longer now.

I did exactly what you did, when i first did my BC for the first 2 months i kept trimming my hair cause i kept seeing straight pieces until i saw a video of someone saying that your hair grows straight and curly and i was like so upset cause my hair would be way longer by now

Me too, i actually did a major chop twice! I had only like 2in of hair and i was still trimming straight pieces! I rly hope i have as much growth as louel83!!

Happy Nappiversary!!! Congrats on your growth, and your hair looks sooo healthy. Oh, I have to give u kudos on the review you did about apple vinegar rinse. That's pretty much all I use now to cleanse my hair. That worked sooo good and my hair and scalp feels soo clean, soft and refreshed afterwards. No more shampoos for me. Thank-u!
